This stuff is right up there with coffee when it comes to starting my day. It's essential to clearing my head. I found the extra-strength to be a bit brash at first, but my nose got used to it in a few days. I hate that the price doubled in the past five years.

I used this product every day for two months during the very difficult pollen season we are currently experiencing. (Spring, 2014). I was also taking Allegra, as recommended by my doctor. Doc said I can use the saline spray 3 times per day. The directions on the can tell you to tilt your head to the side over the sink, insert nozzle in one nostril, depress applicator, and the stream will flow out the other nostril - like using a neti-pot. Here's what my mistake was: I was spraying the product into my nose and then lying down! Take my advice - do not do this! During the first 6 weeks or so, I was very happy with the results - it cleared my sinuses and eliminated my sinus headache. The product contains sodium chloride and sodium bicarbonate. If you lie down after applying, you can taste the salt a bit. OK, that's not a bad thing. However, the side-effect I experienced was that, after applying this product every day for 6 weeks, I got a sore throat. I now believe that it was the salt. If you purchase this product, be sure to use it as directed! That said, I like the product, and I DO recommend it.

This stuff works great, especially when used with a Benzadrex inhaler. Great for nighttime stuffiness.

Simply Saline is a fantastic product with many uses. I bought my last shipment of Simply Saline from Amazon as I can not always get to the drug store in town. I use oxygen with a nasal canula and this can dry out the nasal tract and Simply Saline istantly replaces fluid to this area. Saline has so many health uses, it is also used to flush wounds. I have used Simply Saline many times to clean wounds prior to dressing them. The handy sterile spray nozel is a perfect way to cleanze a wound without touching it. I have used Simply Saline for about seven years now and will continue to use it because of it's versatillity.
