I have never used kinesiology tape before, and I had actually never even heard of it until my supervisor at work (an avid runner) suggested it for my pain. She stated I was mostly likely having issues with my IT band (along the outside of my thighs) and said runners use it all the time. So I had the chance to try this tape, an I'm glad I did! The tape is rolled up and you just unroll it to the point where you want to cut it. THe tape is backed by waxed paper that you unpeel and then stick on your desired spot. I have no idea wher to actually put the tape, so I just googled for correct placement according to the muscle or joint that needs help. Kinesio tape basically provides support to the muscle or joint without restricting it.The tape is red and padded, and has imprinted swirled lines on it. Be aware that this take is somewhat stretchy, so cut it shorter than you think you need. It took me a few times to get the hang of it and cut it short enough. It stayed on during normal activity and while working out. However, it started to fall off once it got sweaty. It also started to peel off after after wearing for a couple hours. The tape did help "take the edge " off my IT band pain while wearing it, although it came back as soon as I removed the tape. All in all, I'd recommend trying this though, as it does give relief when using the tape!Please note that I received this product at a free or reduced rate in exhange for my honest and unbiased opinion.

I have received this product in exchange for an honest review.Upon learning about this type of tape a few months ago, I thought about buying some but it was too expensive in the stores at the time so I was excited to try this product. Since I've heard about it, I've watched a few videos on youtube on using it in pregnancy to help with pains and aches and I'm currently 5 months pregnant so have started to use it to help with back pain. I've tried a few different taping options and have found this is a great help for me during my 10 hour days on my feet as a 2 year old teacher. I bend down constantly all day to pick up kids and put them on the changing table, pick up toys, sit on the floor/get up, put toys on low shelves or sweep the floor or wipe the short tables so it's been hard on my back especially with being pregnant. I've definitely seen a good decrease in my pain levels in my back since starting and am hoping to start seeing a chiropractor soon so they can help me try some other configurations to help with other pains- maybe the leg cramps at night? Not sure of all the uses yet, but I've also had 3 knee surgeries in 5 years prior to getting pregnant so it's easy for my knees to start getting worse now as well. I love using anything natural that doesn't require me to take lots of meds with side effects so this type of treatment is great for me during pregnancy and will be great after as well.

I am now a believer. My family has been telling me forever to try kinesiology tape for an old knee injury that flares up every couple of months. I received this right before a trip to Disney and my knee was really acting up. The thought of walking for hours on end was making me really depressed. I applied it the day before we left just to see how it felt on and if it was going to be something to bring with us. It is very stretchy so it made moving my knee around very easy.I watched a video on youtube to see how to put it on and that really helped. I can honestly say I was able to walk around for 12 hours with hardly any discomfort. I want to buy one for a friend who always seems to hurt her wrist. It made our trip so much more pleasant because I would have ended up laying by the pool the entire trip without it. I received this at a discount for an honest review.

This tape has many uses for me and for the price of under what you would pay for at a major store it holds up well when compared to others. it stays in place through sweat very well. Ive had problems with the expensive ones falling off right away. I used this to wrap my fingers and thumbs when doing heavy weights. I had a major burn on my finger but I couldn't miss a workout so I wrapped it with this, it kept it clean of chalk and dirt. It helps with the kinks of everyday lifting and pain when applied correctly. It applies pressure to the area that needs support very well. I would recommend for others to consider this one before spending a lot more at retail stores.I received this product at a discount in exchange for my honest opinion.

I have heard so many great things about this tape so I was excited to test it out. My husband has a bad knee from hurting it at work and I have arthritis in my right knee. My husb6has pain daily as he work on a concrete floor 5 days a week. For me it only bothers me if I run to much or do strenuous work for a long period of time. (I always have pain but it's bareable)He wrapped his kneeds in it and was able to wear it for 4 days before it started to peel. He even showered everyday.For me I just wanted it while I ran and while it worked great it was extremely hard for me to get it off.If you want to use it for at least a couple of days it's great and does come of better the longer you keep it on. Not so great for a few hours.My husband says this works better than his knee brace and since it's on all day every day he has had little to no pain as well as better movement.Very happy with this purchase. I am so happy I was able to receive a discount for my honest and unbiased review.
