I used a boar bristle brush for years until it wore out. Expensive so I bought a smaller version. My only hesitation: I read about how the farmers, mostly in China as I recall, did not treat their animals well. That bothers me. In the end, I overlooked this concern because of the quality of the brush. I hope there is some oversight of those breeders.
