Great value, one small caveat
Works well. It paired easily and without any difficulty. The design of this unit did not let me plug it in directly into the back of my STB, since the IR port was immediately adjacent to the power port on my RNG. (I think there is another slim version of this device which fits this box better, but much more expensive). However, a short 3.5 mm headphone extender cable worked quite nicely, so consider this when making the purchase.

Does the job.
Worked after a second try.

Two Stars
It seems many boxes this targets don't actually work with the adapter.

Unit makes intermitment connection...
Unit does not make a good connection to the box. The lead is too short. I bought an extender cable assembly and now the unit works great...

Works Great - May Need to Perfrom a Factory Reset on The Remote to Pair
Works perfectly with X-finity XR5 remote and Pace RNG 150N cable box. I was having some difficulty pairing the device with the remote, I did a bit of research and read you may need to perform a factory reset on the remote to pair it. Once I did the reset, it worked perfectly! If you are having that trouble, follow these instructions:Perform a Factory Reset as follows:1. Press and hold the Setup button on the Cox remote for three seconds, until the red LED on the remote turns green.2. Enter 9-8-1. Result: The LED blinks green twice to indicate the remote has been reset. Then proceed with the pairing and you should be all set!

but this is easier and seems to work as well if not better.
I have 2 TVs using a split signal from 1 cable box. I can be in either room and operate the remote. I was going to use an infrared signal extender, but this is easier and seems to work as well if not better.
