Excellent quality precision tools, made in USA, perfect customer service
I got this tool set as I have been working on old Mauser 98 rifles for years. Like so many designs of the time, these rifles are held together by a series of flat head screws, and after over a century some of those slots get to be a little less than crisp (not to mention the toll of all that time, sweat, and being worked on with less than great drivers). On an episode of C&Rsenal (a Youtube channel that does very deep dives on the history and design of old firearms), Othias, one of the two showrunners, went off on a tangent about just how critical having a set of good hollow-ground tip screwdrivers is to working on these old, valuable, and often fragile pieces of machinery. I ordered myself this set and it is incredible how perfect a fit you are able to find, not only without any play but you can feel when the driver tip engages perfectly at the bottom of a slot. These have been serving me well for about 6 months and many, many projects, but of course eventually one of the very fine tipped drivers met its match in removing a very stubborn Enfield trigger guard screw. Out came the screw nonetheless, but not without torquing the tip of the driver. I went about looking for a replacement for the individual driver, accustomed to the unfortunate disposability of tools these days, and was delighted to find out about Grace's Forever Guarantee - if a tool fails from normal use, they replace it for the cost of shipping, no interrogation by phone or email, you just go through their website and it's an effortless process. I haven't gotten my replacement yet, but based on other reviews I'm not concerned that I will. TL;DR these are fantastic tools backed by a company that clearly cares about its products and its customers. I'll be looking no further than Grace's offerings for all of my hand tools going forward.

Good for mechanicing too!
I am a small engine tech in Oklahoma and for the longest time I have been using a mismatched number of screwdrivers. Craftsman, off brand, whatever didn't break I kept using. Now that I have gone from a guy tinkering in his garage to a guy making a large amount of my income doing this , I decided that I should have some nice, matching screwdrivers. I try to buy USA made stuff when I can, so I looked at SK, Mac, and snap-on. They were all ridiculously expensive. And they make them look like transformers or robots or something with the funky handles. Then I found grace. I knew, since these are made mostly for gunsmithing, they would have some semblance e of quality. They are fairly priced and come in about any driver style you need. I really like the wood handles. Only thing you must remember is to not use them as chisels. A plastic handle can deal with that for a while, but these wood ones will probably split. I use them for mechanicing so the wood takes on a nice patina. I bought Phillips and slotted ones to test them out, and I like them so much I will be buying all of them. I do have to come up with a different method of storing them. I store them pointing down in holes and you can't tell which is which. Other than that I have no complaints. Good quality, good looking, fair price, and made in the USA.

A nostalgic view into a past of quality craftsmanship
I like leaving halfway serious reviews on stuff. But there is nothing halfway serious about these screw drivers. These are genuinely great screwdrivers and they make you feel like you’re back in your dad or grandpa’s wood shop. Great quality.

Incredible quality and value. Peerless customer service and generosity to Grace tools!
These are wonderful tools. When I received them, more than half of them had been twisted from over powering them. I called Grace directly and asked them how could this be? The first thing he said was “did you buy them from Amazon or somewhere?” I said yes I did! He said that many times unscrupulous buyers will ballocks up something and then take advantage of Amazon’s benevolent return policy and say nothing of their misdeeds. Then, Amazon will re-issue the item unaware that it is ruined. Here’s the amazing part... He said to not return them and he would send me a replacement set for free to take these bogus ones out of circulation. 😮 They came in the mail a few days later. Made in the USA, by real Americans! They have a lifelong customer now. These are precision tools with hollow ground tips so only the very bottom of the screw slot is touched by the driver. They are for gunsmithing or any other work where buggering up the screw heads is a capital offense. I have bought two more of their brass hammers and they are without peer. I have had one I bought from the Matco truck thirty years ago and it still works perfect. I have resurfaced and polished it a dozen times. I can’t do aircraft work without it. I bought the 4 ounce delrin tipped model recently and it is of equal quality. They didn’t get to be “the” gunsmith tool company by selling baloney. Thank you Amazon and Grace. Shame on you creeps that send back ruined stuff and keep your mouth shut.😐 Godspeed to you all! 😎🙏✝️
