The shipment itself was days early and the product itself is wonderful. I'm short girl when it comes to motorcycles and this kit helped lower my bike so I actually have both feet flat on the ground! I had to tip toe around with my old suspension. I am thrilled for warmer weather. This kit has made me more confident in riding. Worth every penny!!

Good enough stiff

The Slammer Shocks were awesome. They didn't lower the rear as much as I had expected, however, they did lower the rear a little bit. Once I removed my stock fork springs and spacers, I realized they are actually shorter than the length Burly recommends you saw the spacer [See my photos for a better understanding -- the plastic gray spacer is the Burly Brand; the metal spacer is the factory Nightster spacer]. Due to this, I returned my entire kit and purchased just the Slammer Shocks. I have a HD Nightster, so for those who have a Nightster, you may want to either reconsider this kit, or plan on sawing down your plastic spacers shorter than Burly Brand recommends.

The only thing with the 2007 sportster is i was surprised to see a small pvc pipe as part of the kit. but all in all sooo easy to install, just don't forget to get some fork oil
