It looks not too deep to hold enough.** A: I measured it at about 0.85 inches. That was a qu8ck sloppy measurement with a tape measure. The quality was much better than I had expected. **Q: Is product made in China?** A: I assume it is made in China. I no longer have the original packaging and there is nothing stamped on the drainer.
