The way the paint lays down is very bright solid opaque but not thick and streaky the brush tip I think has a lot to do with this. You can get a very wide range of thin to thickenss in just one swipe so lettering is easy even if, like me your not good at calligraphy.All the metallic colours are beautiful and bright, and the basics blend well if you don't wait too long between applications. All in all I love the pens. The box is great looking keep on work space and would make a lovely gift. There is a nice selection of colours and the ink comes out nicely but isn't messy. I found that some colours are more pigmented and show better than others. The white pen doesn't show up very much but I found if you do a few layers it shows up much better. I feel the plain coloured ones look quite good on white paper whereas the metallic pens show up nicely on the black paper. The pens are okay on glass, but don't have the best coverage. I used two layers and it was better. However it does rub off fairly easily but maybe there's a way of protecting it. It looks quite good on wood in my opinion so they're really good for that. They are nicely packaged so could make a nice gift.
