It is a lamp. It works. The cord is long enough to be useful. Overall build quality is good. My big complaint is the magnet. It is almost strong enough. What do I mean? The magnet holds the light firmly to any metal work surface, so there is not complain there. However, the magnet is not strong enough to keep the lamp from rotating. If you want the lamp arm to be horizontal, the magnet is not strong enough. Would I buy it again. Yes. It is a good value for the money. If I had more money, I would purchase an LED light. But at two to three times the cost, this lamp is good enough.
