Number two for baseboard vents that are under a window and curtains the deflector directs the air flow out into the room instead of going up into the curtains. makes things cooler in the room since cool air is not trapped between the curtain and the window.
Review: Perfect air flow - Works perfect for directing the air from the vent from going up to the windows. We have long base board vents so I was looking for something that would be adjustable for there size and also push the air flow out instead of up right to the window and these work perfectly. The only thing is because they are magnetic on the sides and big dog does push it off sometimes. They are pretty durable though.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Does this redirect the heat/air to the top or to the side?**
A: Neither. My air was going straight up & causing my paper towels (on wall holder above air vent), to unroll. My vents are on the floor. The air continues to come up and the deflector  stops it from all going straight up and directs it straight out at floor level. The second one I purchased was for a vent below a window which was because my window was fogging up (not good for the window), so the air no longer goes straight up to the window (so air is redirected straight out into the room). I am glad I purchased these as they do what I wanted and my vents are metal so the magnets hold them in place nicely. They are clear plastic so they look just fine.

**Q: Does this work on wall AC vents?**
A: probably not.  It is held in place by magnets on the bottom.  Not likely strong enough to keep this on the wall - unless you used something like Gorilla 2-sided tape.  That might work

**Q: Will this work on a GE large window ac**
A: you might be able to make it work but the case around the vent should be metal because they use magnets to hold this on . you might be able to reconfigure it i don't know   !!

**Q: What is the height**
A: Height is 4 5/8 inches when measured on a flat surface.  However, if measured when properly sitting on the heating grate, they are 4 1/2 inches. Hope this helps

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works Well—Just Don't Fully Extend It

I bought this to use on the wall-mounted air conditioning unit in my office because the vents aren't adjustable. It has worked very well for redirecting the airflow away from my desk, making the office much more comfortable. The magnetic attachment is strong, and installation took just a minute. The clear plastic also blends in nicely without being too noticeable. The only reason I'm giving it four stars instead of five is that it can't be extended to its full length. When I tried to fully extend it, the two sections tended to separate. Keeping it slightly shorter solved the problem, but I wish the connection between the pieces was a little more secure. Overall, it's an effective solution for directing airflow, and I'm glad I purchased it.
