This mailbox is beautiful and heavy duty. Most offerings out there are thin flimsy metal. This is not. It's large enough to hold a small package and easy to mount. Looks great on my house! Was worth the price for the quality.

I'm writing this review mainly to add some additional photos as they were hard for me to find on multiple websites before I purchased this. Like others have said, it is a very sturdy and well made mailbox. A little pricey, but it is significantly better than those cheap, thin, tin-like ones you find at the hardware store. I think it's worth the money.The opening is HUGE. I measured the opening about 8 1/4 wide and about 4 1/2 deep. I like that the opening is large and that it will likely hold a small package or two if needed. There is no locking feature, but I didn't require that. I didn't install the newspaper hooks at the bottom, but those are metal as well.There are three mounting holes only at the top (none on the lower area). Hardware is included, but I used my own. Hopeful this will last for years.I hope this helps!

I could NOT be happier with my new mailbox. I had gleaned previous reviews before I made the plunge and now my review will be part of the raving exclamations! It is absolutely beautiful, well made and nice and heavy. The color is perfect! As I perused the mailboxes offered in retail stores, I found nothing above pure ordinary so I shopped online for a couple of weeks. This mailbox met all of my criteria which included size (for magazines, flyers, etc) quality and last but surely not least, beauty. I would highly recommend this...it's a keeper and I anticipate that it will last for decades, unlike previous ones I've had! Nothing ordinary here...

I wasn't really sure about this mailbox.... It was a bit pricey and I really prefer to buy items that are included in Amazon Prime. But, I was desperate, so I decided to take a chance with this mailbox. I'm so very glad that I did. It is very heavy, durable, well built, and of good quality (thank goodness). We left off the hooks on the bottom (didn't need them). Used our own masonry screws to attach it to the bricks next to the front door of our 1943-Cottage. It's heavy-duty like they used to make things in the "olden days" and sort of aged looking, so it really looks like it has been there since the house was built. I get compliments on it ALL the time.

This is by far one of the best purchases I've made! I can't even describe how absolutely beautiful this mailbox is! The bronze finish is truly a traditional bronze. Exceptional craftsmanship. Looks like it will last 100 years. Even better than the pictures show.. this is a must-have item!

A very high quality solid mailbox. Medium large in size with solid, heavy construction. I left the newspaper hooks off and mounted two of these boxes side by side on a brick wall and labeled them with a Brother label maker. They are held in place by three screws. It has poured rain a number of times since I mounted these and my mail has stayed dry. The lid has a gratifying heavy smooth feel to it.

Nice mailbox

This mailbox looks nice on my house--way better than the ones available at the big box stores. The mail stays dray, it's built well, and hasn't shown any wear after a few months of direct exposure to the weather. The coating on it seems as if it will hold up for years. The size is about right too and it will hold small boxes. Overall, no complaints & we're quite pleased with it
