Perfect if you parallel park every day. I will say that I'm happy that this puts a bit of space between the cars so that the car that's backing into you will notice before they actually come in contact with your car. Most parking contact is at a very low speed so this thing does wonders to protect my bumper. I keep it ready to flip out from my bumper at all times. Amazing product and I would definitely buy again.

This was extremely easy to install, I simply open the trunk and flip it in and out at the beginning and end of the day. This has protected my new car and no new nicks and scratches.

I ordered the MetroBumper when I bought my new white Jetta. It definitely served the purpose, and as a result I have no dings on my bumper and I parallel park every weekday in downtown Jersey City. The only issue I have is that my car is white and the bumper is black. In spots it left a dark residue on my bumper which did not come out in the car wash. I had to use alcohol and elbow grease to get the black residue out. The good news is that it did come out. I only wish these came in white for those of us with white cars. Other than that (which is why I gave it 4 and not 5 stars), I love this product.

The reason I gave the MetroBumper 5 stars is because it fufills every expectation possible. I recently purchased a Mercedes C300 and fits my bumber well. This does not protect the bumper from end to end... It's not meant for that.. more so it's meant protect that middle area of the bumper that always seems to get nicked up. The MetroBumper itself is made of a very durable rubber based material that can easily withstand rain. The straps are very sturdy and the velcro works to perfection. For me, it was imperative that I can easily remove when driving and this fits the bill. Before getting into my car I simply lift the MetroBumper into the trunk and off I go. I have heard some complaints about the velcro being cut and MetroBumper being stolen.. Yes, that is possible but it's not an issue where I live so that did not factor but it should be considered if you live in a large city. Overall a great buy... If your in the market for one do not hesitate. This particular bumper guard is a fraction of the price of the others and works just as well.

IT HAS MEET ALL MY EXPECTATIONS. THE BUMPER ON MY LAST CAR WAS "CHEWED UP" BY CARELESS DRIVERS! I LAUGHED AT PEOPLE WITH THE BUMPER GUARDS, BUT I'M LAUGHING NOW BECAUSE WITH MY NEW CAR, THIS REALLY HELPS IN PROTECTING MY BUMPER. (WISHED IT WAS A LITTLE LONGER, BUT I KNEW THE SIZE WHEN I PURCHASED IT) AND THE PRICE, EVEN WITH SHIPPING WAS THE BEST PRICE I COULD FIND ANYWHERE.

The rubber is good quality but the patch that gets attached to the trunk boddy on thei nside of the trunk to hang the metrobumper is not strong enough and it didnt stay glued even one day. As a solution I just press the two side belts with the trunk door.

Thicker and plusher than it appeared in ad. Seems like a much less expensive but very effective protector than some others advertised on Amazon.
