Neato Fault code 3000, Lidar not spinning
This fixed it. Easy change. Very happy…… now to return the brand new Neato Botvac that arrived a week ago with the same fault! But this was brilliant!

Easy fix for my Neato D750
My Neato stopped cleaning and would just start the vacuum running for a few moments and then stop, giving the 'Having trouble - reboot me' message on the app. I used the 'Neato Control' program to verify that the lidar had stopped spinning and after removing the motor I could see it was dead (it should spin if you just connect it to an AA battery).Ordered this replacement and it's working very well. The hardest part of installing it was removing the small plastic wheel from the old motor - it will slide off with some WD40 and enough pressure - and then you can put it on the new motor. Be sure to cover up the unused mounting holes on the replacement motor - apparently dust can get in through them and ruin the motor.

Overpriced but did the job
You need the tools and competency to repair a Neato. That being said I replaced the motor and associated ribbon and had my D7 back into service after this common (error 3000) fault and saved myself a potential £150 repair bill.

Brilliant!
I have just fixed my D5 connected with this little motor. Took me a while to strip the robot down and replace the old one but it wasn’t really difficult to do. I am so pleased that I could do this as the robots aren’t cheap. I highly recommend this if you have a non-spinning lidar and the error 3000.

Wish people would publish the part number and not use the vacuum name to rip people off.

Probleem verholpen
Na een nieuwe motor te plaatsen (en de kabel te herstellen) werkt mijn Neato D7 terug correct.

réparation facile de mon Neato Botvac D7
Mon D7 ne fonctionnait plus et après une courte inspection, j'ai vu que ce petit moteur était défectueux. Changement aisé en 15 minutes et le robot marche comme avant.

Idéntico al original.
Es exactamente como el original, pero con el cable más corto, aunque viene con un prolongador, supongo, que se puede usar en diferentes modelos.En mi caso ha sustituido el del LiDAR de un Botvac connected y ha vuelto a funcionar con normalidad.
