The media could not be loaded. This is a really great popcorn machine and is gorgeous to top it off. Form and function! It pops the kernels fast, about one minute, and the light feature keeps the popcorn hot and crunchy.Two small drawbacks: 1) It was time consuming to build. 2) It’s top heavy. That’s not a concern when it’s stationary, it’s plenty stable, but if you roll it from room to room like we do, just be careful and go slow.One tip: The hanging popper gets HOT, HOT, HOT so choose your popping oil carefully. We’ve had the best success with oils that have a smoke point of 450+ degrees. Our oil of choice is peanut.Overall, this has been an excellent popper for us.

We bought this as a surprise for my husband for Father’s Day and he was so happy. He loves movie theater popcorn but not the movie theater prices for it. Now he has the best of both worlds. He can control the flavoring and salt level himself and he never has to worry about a burnt kernel again. This machine is truly the easiest to use, and it fills the house with that wonderful smell of fresh popcorn. The kids always know when it’s movie time at our house!The specs: The machine is a full size model on a stand. It reaches to my chin and I’m 5’6”. It holds a bunch of popcorn! It’s made with real metal and glass not flimsy plastic and it was easy to assemble. The wheels of the chart are like real bike wheels with rubber tires and metal spokes. The storage door holds all the goodies inside so they are there when you are ready. Though it comes with bags and a server we went ahead and ordered him some extra and some reusable popcorn containers since this is staying in the family. We love this thing. You want this. You really need this!

Nice popcorn maker -- looks great and makes tasty popcorn! Everyone loves the finished product.But i would not recommend the 8oz kettle size. The cabinet/housing is too small for it, so it's very cramped trying to load the kettle with oil and kernels. It's also challenging scooping out the popcorn since there's so little room to maneuver your scooper without clanging into the sides or the kettle.The kettle lid "flaps" are also rather light/flimsy, so unpopped kernels fly out constantly during popping and you end up with lots of waste....maybe 1/4 of the kernels get wasted every time.

The media could not be loaded. I've had several poppers in my life, the old school hand crank stovetop in the 80s, the countertop air popper in the 90s, the silicone microwave popper of the 2000s. This one is spectacular if you need to serve popcorn to several people. Make sure you clean it well after using. I got this for $230 at the time, it took 2 weeks to arrive, the box was very very damaged and it had a return receipt inside with some else's name and address, so it was bought and sold last month, but still it was never before used, so that's all fine. You can make several batches back to back for events. Be certain to watch YouTube videos on how to do this professionally. The oil goes in first, when the oil starts to steam a lot add the corn, then the flavors go in a minute after the corn so they don't burn up or caramelize. Read the instructions on everything, don't guess.

The front door on this machine was inside a cardboard box, inside a glass case. I opened the shipping box upon receipt of the shipment to make sure all was fine. Looked great, didn't know there was a glass door inside the glass cabinet where the door came. NO INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS COULD BE FOUND! So, assuming all was in good shape, I took the destroyed shipping box and styrofoam packing and further destroyed them to get them in my garbage container. The next day, upon removing the packaged stuff inside the glass cabinet, I found the contents of what should have been the door, was instead a bag of shattered glass. It took me awhile to realize it was the door to the cabinet. (Remember, no assemby or parts instructions). Tried to contact them to see if they could get me another door. They use a third party "warranty/service" contractor (Team Customer Service), who you can only contact via email, who told me my only option was to contact Amazon and ship it back. (What if I needed parts in the future!!!!!)Beware, they are not made here and there is NO way of contacting them!! If you purchase this, your only recourse is to ship it back via Amazon (Who is also impossible to contact since all their stuff is computer generated and extremely frustrating. I'm also very disappointed in Amazon!) Any way "Caveat Emptor".At the very minimum, don't destroy any packaging before assembling the whole machine, and then you're still gong to be out of luck if you need parts in the future!!!

Fairly easy to assemble. It is very easy to clean. It makes perfect popcorn and keeps the popcorn warm and fresh. I use it once or twice a week.

We love our popcorn machine. It has produced some great fresh, movie theater quality popped corn. That said, get the ratio right between the oil or butter to the corn you’re putting in. I recommend 2 table spoons of oil or butter to 1Cup full of kernels. Follow the instructions and you’ll come out with great popcorn. However, cleaning it is a bit of a pain since you CANNOT submerge it in water. I wipe it with a slightly damp sponge and just wipe it down. As long as you keep it clean it’ll be great.

The product was fine , it was just too small for what we were looking for. We have already reodered a different version, same company that suits our needs Thanks!
