This scarf is very sheer, which is good, because it makes the pattern easier to discern. It has a lovely little glittery gold peacock on each end. It is not at all tacky, because the gold is used just for accent and it's just enough. My only conundrum is that I was gonna use it as a sash to add to a head wrap and I don't wanna bunch it up and hide any of it's beauty. I did manage to tie it leaving one end on my shoulder and you could see the peacock, and that looked very nice. It would be gorgeous as a shoulder wrap with only jewelry needed being gold hoops, which you know we all have already. I recommend it to all. Another thing is that is came before I could put my phone down. Very quick delivery with all efforts taken to protect it from being snagged. I'm going back to the company and choose another one right now. I can say with certainty that is would make a very special holiday gift. Best of luck ladies.

I ordered it in yellow. It is not quite as bright as the picture shows only because the material is not all that thick. I would describe the material as a stretchish-sheer material. The design is prominent and yet definitely not too much. It is a splash of color and class! I would order them in every color. I would recommend this. You can wear it so many different ways. It would be gorgeous if you wrapped it around your neck and allowed the peacocks to lay on your back....HOW ELEGANT THAT WOULD BE! of course you could wear it as a simple wrap. You could wrap it around your neck and lay the peacocks in the front. You could tie a simple knot in it. The variations are endless. The edging gives is a bit of a ripple effect so that when you wrap it around it looks good BUT because it has a bit of stretch it is not too ripply when you were to wear it as a stole. I ordered it in the turquoise (it was delivered 2 weeks after ordering, yet another thing to love): LOVE that one too!!!!!! UPDATE: after wearing it just once the sheering is coming apart from gold edging and I noticed it has like a double layer of tiny holes--looks like when the material is at the end of the bolt-- The design is really beautiful BUT unfortunately the craftmanship is not equal. This would be good for a special singletime wear==UNFORTUNATELY!!!!! I bought in other colors hoping to give away as gifts and now I do not feel confidant to do this :( . I am so very disappointed because I was so very much excited when I received it!!!!

I have to be honest ... I wasn't expecting too much given the low, low price. It took a little extra time to arrive and I had all but forgotten about it. It is beautiful. We have a large,long dresser that I chose to use this on top of instead of an ordinary runner/doily but I would (and someday may) use this as a delicate shoulder wrap. It is worth the extra delivery time and worth more than I paid.I may end up with another color😉

This is a beautiful scarf, no doubt about it. It's a good size and the pattern is lovely. Mine did not have the problem with glitter coming off like some of the other reviewers said. However, it took a very, very, very long time to arrive so you need to consider that when ordering. If you're buying this as a gift, order a long time in advance. But when it comes, you'll be pleased.

This scarf is absolutely stunning. It is now my new favorite accessory scarf. It is very light weight, shear, and delicate. I can't get over the color contrast. It is like an aqua turquoise and the black and gold just make it so eye catching not to mention the beautiful embroidered peacocks.

What a lovely surprise! Workmanship excellent and peacock design placed perfectly.. The ruffles on both edges are done in an unexpected subtle gold thread. Couldn't see that feature in the photo, but I liked it so much I ordered a couple more in different colors. It's also a perfect fit for covering shoulders. Great buy!

I'm not really a huge fan. ..the good is a little too bold for my liking. .

I've gotten lots of compliments on this scarf. The material is kind of a stretchy net, which looks ok. The color (mine is green) is a lovely shade, but it is the embellishments that really make this scarf stand out. The peacocks are black velvet and glittery gold and the entire scarf is trimmed with a shiny gold trim. It's also nice and long. I plan to order another color. I am very happy.
