Easy to set up, all nice and shiny with a surprisingly varied selection of lighting choices to show if the dock is powered, if a controller is connected, empty, currently charging, current battery level indicators, and when fully recharged and ready for immediate use.

I like this a lot … great quality, not too big, charging is quick, seems like a solid bit of kit and looks cool. The controllers sit nice and stable and don’t rock about. The lights are not too bright so won’t keep you awake at night, nothing worse than bright leds but this unit don’t have that problem. I like that I can change color or turn off the base light, nice touch. I have both controllers from different Xbox’s and both charge perfectly. Buy this with full confidence….. thank you : )

My first impression when receiving this dock were that the package as a whole was quite compact. I was expecting something quite bulky, and for everything to fit into this little box is quite impressive. Upon opening the box you are greeted with: - The charging station itself - Two batteries - four battery doors (two for Xbox One and two for Series X|S) - And a USB to micro-USB cable. Oivo have gone the Apple-route and have opted to exclude a USB wall brick, so you will either need to use one that you already have, or plug the dock into your Xbox’s USB port. The station is compatible with both Xbox Series S|X controllers and the original Xbox one controllers. This is because it comes with four different size battery doors, two that fit the Xbox One controllers, and two that fit the Series S X controllers. The batteries slot into the controllers easily, and then you replace your battery door with the correct one provided. If you are like me and have a mix of Series S|X controllers and Xbox One controllers, you can have one of each on the charging station. At the time of this review, the white charging station is £26.99 with a 3 pound voucher. The black charging station is on offer at around £19-20 pounds, which is a fantastic deal. Especially since the official Microsoft play and charge kit comes with only ONE battery and is around £20 from the Microsoft store. So if you are thinking about picking up this charging station, keep in mind which colour battery doors you want. If you have any of the nice coloured / or custom xbox design lab controllers, you will be stuck with either white or black charging doors on the back. And if you mix controller colours, like I do, you have to decide which station fits your overall setup. And I am not a big fan of the text on the battery doors, but if this isn’t something that bothers you, then it’s nothing to worry about. The battery connects to the charger via these two metal pins on the dock. It doesn’t always guarantee a perfect connection on first try, so you might have practice a little to get the perfect connection. The battery life has lasted much more than one of my typical gaming sessions, and are just placed right back into the dock for charging when I'm done. This way, I know whenever I pick it up to play, the battery will be at 100%. I think the Oivo charging station keeps the controllers looking quite neat and organised in a set up and I think it looks quite good with the LED glow. It also has some nice features, like an LED indicator on the front which tells you when your controllers are being charged and when they are full. For under £30, i think the OIVO charging station is a really fantastic option for keeping your controllers charged up and ready to go for a gaming session.

My grandkids asked me if they could get this as the controllers need charged , by now you'll have gathered I know nothing about these things 😀, they tell me the fast charging is good , battery life is ok , batteries fit well , docking station is of good build , ive been told this item is good value for the money.

Ich habe diese Controller Ladestation nun seit gut einer Woche in Gebrauch. Sie funktioniert sowohl mit den Controllern der neuen Xbox Series X Konsole, als auch für die "älteren" Xbox One Modelle. Im Lieferumfang sind jeweils 2 Abdeckungen pro Konsolenart enthalten. Für die Verwendung wird der mitgelieferte Akku (2 im Lieferumfang) anstelle der Batterien im entsprechenden Fach des Controllers verwendet, durch die mitgelieferten Abdeckungen sind die Kontakte des Akkus oben zugänglich und können so einfach kopfüber in der Ladestation geladen werden. Die LEDs zeigen den Ladestatus an, zudem gibt es noch eine generelle grüne LED Beleuchtung um die Ladestation unten herum. Die Akkulaufzeit ist unter Verwendung von Headset und intensivem Spielen ein klein wenig kürzer als mit üblichen Batterien, allerdings in etwa vergleichbar mit dem teureren Originalakku von Xbox selbst, also immer noch mehr als ausreichend. Da ich jetzt einfach den Controller nach jedem Spielen abends in die Ladestation lege, habe ich keinerlei Probleme mehr und kann jederzeit loslegen. Auch insgesamt fühlt sich alles wertig an. Meiner Meinung nach ein gutes Produkt zum sehr ansprechenden Preis.
