6 In. Ice Auger - Auger Only

This auger is light weight, cuts into the ice just fine, went through 12” like a breeze and it has the float if it becomes detached from the drill. You will need to get a 1/2” brushless drill to make it a working unit.

I was reluctant to buy one of these. I figured there was no way these things will outwork my propane auger. I also figured that lithium batteries and extreme cold really dont get along. Well let me tell you, I was wrong!I took my Makita Brushless 1/2 inch Drill, and 3 Batteries and my charger to charge them all up after a day on the lake.Well I went out in 14 deg farenheit weather and 11 inch thick ice. I went two days in a row. I drill 4 holes to start. I drill more holes nd move until I find the fish so I drilled about 20 holes each day. This thing is the best invention I have ever paid for, for ice fishing.I lightened my ice sled dithing the propane auger, It drills holes way faster than my propane auger did. The bonus, I only used 1 battery and it wasn't even close to needing a 2nd battery. Don't sleep on this if you Ice Fish. I wish I had tried one sooner.

I grew up in a time when we did it by hand or occasionally somebody had a gasoline motorized one things like these are the biggest game changer to ice fishing in the last 40 years. The Kdrill gets it done in all types of ice.
