use it a bit seem sturdy but one of the file have it teeth missing on two side they need to make sure all of them have their teeth before sending it out.If it did i would have given it a better review for it came with glove and the case is sturdy and have space to put other stuff in.Notice it was made in china they need better quality control for the price paid it seem a bargain and if it last a long time it would be well worth it.Got a few job doing going to see how it hold up.By the way for the price there are other in the same price so get this at a discount and it a bargain.

Good quality file set for the price , good selection for different jobs

I used this seventeen piece file set for smoothing cut metal, cleaning rough edges on brackets, and shaping a small wooden repair piece. The range of flat, round, half round, and needle files meant I had a suitable shape for each job. The larger files remove material efficiently without feeling overly coarse, while the needle files are useful around narrow slots and detailed areas. The handles are comfortable and give me much better control than bare file tangs. I also appreciate the fitted case because it keeps the smaller pieces from disappearing into a toolbox. The teeth arrived clean and evenly cut, and none of the handles have loosened during use. I clean the files with a stiff brush after each job to prevent material building up between the teeth. This is a well chosen set for household repairs, model work, and general workshop use. I have used far more of the included shapes than I expected.

This is an awesome product that presents an excellent value proposition as you get A LOT of high quality hardware for the price! A quick search on Amazon will yield the fact that similar cases alone, with no hardware included, will cost in excess of $15! So, for just a few dollars more, you’re getting a wide array of high quality files that come in enough sizes to tackle most any job! I am VERY happy with this purchase and knew that I made a good decision as soon as I opened up the package and felt the heft and subsequently got to see the quality first hand. I had the pleasure of trying a few of these files and they worked just as expected. They did the job and held up extremely well. Thus far, the carbon steel has held up well against both metal and plastic, so I’m certain that wood should in fact be no problem for these files. The included extras were just “icing on the cake” that added to the overall value, but they were not factored into my buying decision as I just wanted a solid set of high quality files that could easily tackle most hobby type tasks as well as being useful at home. Being retired, I thought that these would give me the most value for my hobbies. I believe that I was correct based on the handful of uses that I got from this set. I really couldn’t recommend it more! Ultimately, if you need a decent set of files with a case and plan on keeping it for a while, well, this set is truly a “no brainer!”
