Powerful, safe cleaner
Sonus All-in-1 Total Auto Cleaner reviewThis stuff is awesome. I understand some won’t want to be a little patient while the cleaner goes to work. However, at 10:1 Sonus All-in-1 easily removed 10 years of baked-on dirt, grim, brake dust, etc. from my wheels. This can be seen by comparing the clean area around the stem valve and the brownish-red area on the inner rim, which is what the nooks and crannies of the outer rims used to look like. You can even see where All-in-1 was removing the baked on dirt on the inner rim. I just don’t care to remove the build-up from the inner rim; that was just from some overspray, which started cleaning the inner rim.I also used this at 10:1 under the hood as another test. It easily removed that 10 years of grim from the paint and plastic, which came off much faster than the baked on brake dust from the wheels. My goal at the time wasn’t to clean the entire engine bay, only to see how All-in-1 worked under the hood. When I decide to do it, this will enable me to easily clean up everything under the hood.I also used Sonus All-in-1 at 10:1 to remove the oxidation/browning on my 3-year-old tires. I watched a video with Pan the Organizer using SuperClean at 1:1 on tires to remove browning. He explained that it may take multiple cleanings to remove all the browning. In his demonstration, it took 3 cleanings with SuperClean before the tires where “clean”. So, I figured that would be a fair comparison with All-in-1. My approach was to spray All-in-1 on one tire and let it sit while I sprayed the second tire. I then went back to the first tire, sprayed a little more All-in-1 and brushed the wheel. I let that sit and moved back to the second wheel, where I sprayed on a little more All-in-1 and brushed the wheel. I alternated back-and-forth between the two tires 3 times. This allowed the All-in-1 to dwell and go to work, while providing some agitation. I probably spent 10 minutes on the tires in that manner, then rinsed them off. Bam…the oxidation was removed and the tires look clean and black. I applied a light coating of CarPro PERL at 10:1 for a rich, matte black look and to prevent any sling. The wheels look great.I also used All-in-1 at 10:1 to remove a stubborn film and annoying smudge marks from my windshield, which were easy to see at night with a light shining on the glass. Just sprayed a little All-in-1 on a magic eraser and worked it over the glass. This worked way better than the IPA and magic eraser combo I tried first, which just appeared to move the film from one place to another. I followed up with a some distilled water and a Scott Glass paper towel to rinse of the All-in-1. The glass actually looks clean now when I wipe it down; those who have obsessed over getting glass clean know what I’m talking about. Those stupid smudges can be a freak’n nuisance. Sonus All-in-1 solved the problem for me.I used All-in-1 at 30:1 to clean my dashboard and prepare it for some CarPro PERL. I sprayed All-in-1 on a round foam pad and worked it all over the dashboard, spraying on a little more cleaner as needed. I wiped off the All-in-1 using ONR at 256:1 and a microfiber towel. I then applied a very light coat of CarPro PERL at 10:1 to the dashboard. The result was an rich, even, black matte finish. I believe cleaning with Sonus All-in-1 was essential to removing any oils that accumulated on the dash from fingers so I could obtain the desired final results.I also used All-in-1 at 30:1 to clean some spots off my headliners. Just a little spray and some gentle agitation; then gently wiped area with a slightly damp microfiber towel. Since it safely cleans my headliner, I know I won’t have any problem removing some spots from my cloth seats.Based on what I’ve seen, Sonus All-in-1 Total Auto Cleaner actually appears to work as described. I think this may be the one cleaner that rules them all. My next test will be to use it as a pre-wash with some ONR to rinse off dirt and grim before my touch wash.I think Sonus All-in-1 is a tremendous value because it is dilutable and can be used to safely clean everything on the interior and exterior of the car, based on my experience with the product. I don’t see the need for any other APC or specialty cleaner for wheels, the engine, interior, etc. as All-in-1 appears to effectively clean everything I’ve tried it on. Oh, I forgot to mention I used it to clean the leather steering wheel on my 10-year-old car; worked great. I have even used it on a couple jobs around the house. Other than ONR for my touch wash, this is the only cleaner I plan to use for my cars going forward. I don’t know why Sonus All-in-1 doesn’t get touted by all the YouTube auto detailers. This stuff is awesome and the best value cleaner I have found. At 10:1 (a strong dilution), this would only cost about $10/gallon; at a 30:1 dilution, that would be less than $5 a gallon. Did I mention it works extremely well? Thank you for creating this product and selling it to the general public.
