An excellent 3-hole multi-purpose paper, works on inkjet printers, too.
This is a good, bright paper. The surface is more slick than most inkjet papers I've used but my printers do not have a problem with this. It's a good value and the only 3-hole paper I can find priced about the same as my regular papers—a major convenience. Thickness for 24 bond is not quite that of my other papers but it's not as thin as 22 so I have no problem. Letter size is accurate and easy to use. No jamming issue but my Brother printer can drop pages when it gets too warm so I do not let it print more than 150 pages at a time without a rest.

Perfect Paper
Although I bought 2 cases of Hammermill Printer Paper, Premium for [color] laser printers, I began to use it in 2025 after replenishing a supply of couple of brand laser printer paper. The Hammermill color laser paper is especially smooth. It holds toner so well with results that are slightly higher than typeset quality. Hammermill is my favorite brand of printer paper for keeps. Purchasing Hammermill on Amazon enables me to raise my paper supply the way professional business firms practice but in a home setting.

MEETS DAR REQUIREMENTS!!
Hammermill Printer Paper, Premium Laser Print 24 lb., 8.5 x 14-1 Ream (500 Sheets) - 98 Bright, Made in the USA, 104612, meets Application paper standards for DAR. This very smooth paper is 24 lb., 8 1/2 x 14, is acid free (per the product narrative) and non-recycled (per the response I got from a Rufus inquiry) thereby meeting 2025 standards. (Watermark is no longer required). I copied the product narrative and Rufus response to send to National should it be questioned. Provided advertising is truthful, after a year of searching I finally found a paper that will work!!! (Note: I did not find "acid-free" or "non-recycled" in the ream packaging.)

I usually avoid giving 5 stars to anything but I want to entice Hammermill to continue making this.
This is a review for: Hammermill Premium Laser Print Paper. Aaah...paper. I love it. I have color inkjet printers and I have a color laser printer and I love them and I love printing. Remember when inkjet paper was dedicated to inkjet inks? It really made a difference. Well....that is gone except for high-end specialty papers sold as inkjet. Well...maybe not. Maybe there really is a paper that is as good as the old dedicated inkjet paper. When I looked for the best I could find for my laser color printer, I wound up buying this Hammermill Premium Laser Print. To get it you've got to get all 3 of those words right and in the right order because there are other papers from Hammermill and from other companies who use all of those words but not in that order. That is confusing. I hate it but that's the way it is. This paper is great for the laser. The paper surface is really smooth so the melted toner lays a nice glossy image on the smooth paper. It looks great. It's not as good as a glossy presentation paper for laser but for a plain surface paper it is quite pleasing and I'm pretty proud to distribute things I print on this stuff. But !! I tried it in my inkjet printers. Wow! This stuff is better than any of the old so-called "inkjet" papers. I mean it seems to holds the ink near the top of the surface of the page like the old dedicated inkjet paper used to do and it really displays bright saturated colors and dark dense blacks. And it is just as water resistant as any other inkjet paper I have used. I love it. So, I printed on both sides. No appreciable bleed through. I can see through it if I shine light through it from behind but such is the case with all papers. Now, this Hammermill Premium Laser Print isn't going to perform exactly like dedicated inkjet matte specialty papers or dedicated inkjet glossy papers...but...it is so close to some of the matte papers, I'm truly favorably impressed. I don't bother buying any other paper. As long as Amazon contues to give a decent deal on this stuff, I can't see any reason to use anything else. So, nothing is really worth 5 stars in this mortal world, but, I did it anyway because I hope to coax Hammermill to leave good enough alone and keep this in the product lineup. (I swear it seems like everytime I come to depend on some product, there's a revamp at the whim of some new VP or something and everything degrades forcing me to scurry for an acceptable substitute at the last minute without warning.)

Good quality, value for price
Very good quality paper, runs smoothly through an HP laser printer and prints cleanly. This particular weight works well for DVD case inserts - it is slightly thicker than standard copy paper but thin enough to be fully flexible and easy to cut using an inexpensive paper trimmer, and the legal size dimensions give plenty of length to fit the artwork on. I am deducting one star because the ream arrived with the protective covering sheath split and/or ripped in multiple spots, I had to tape it back together (but the actual paper sheets were somehow all still fine, whew!).

Perfect paper for your laser printer. Love the 5 ream case!
Picked up some of this because of the amazing price and I was running low at the time anyway. Glad I decided to go with the 5 ream case rather than just purchasing single reams... Purchasing by the case better ensures that you receive your paper in great condition, because we all know that carriers are necessarily treating your shipments with love and care.. The paper itself is the best laser printer paper I've used. I particularly like this paper because of the texture. It has a nice smooth, pleasant texture, one side being EVER so slightly more smoother/shiny than the other, which I load to print on as I like the presentation better on something that isnt dull matte white.. I would describe the texture a kin to something like, satin? Maybe? It's nice and smooth and when held up to the light you can see a bit of sheen... It also makes for really nice note taking paper as well, as the smooth paper gives a great surface for writing with most pens... Print quality on this paper is top notch and what you would come to expect from a quality manufacturer. Text is super crisp... Paper doesn't hold too bad of a bend when printed (we all know how laser printers can do that, some papers will hold the bend more so than others) and eventually, once it cools down, actually flattens out pretty good. Obviously it's never going to be PERFECTLY flat, but it isn't nearly as bad as some papers, especially when printing with regular ole general purpose paper or copy paper that's usually used in inkjets as well.... I would note that you really shouldn't use this paper in an inkjet printer. Obviously, it's for a laser printer. I've tried this stuff out in my inkjets and the results aren't great. Comes out kind of faded, if you will? Almost like the ink couldn't penetrate the paper. But then again, this is LASER printer paper, not inkjet, and that's what I use it for so I absolutely LOVE IT.... Trust me, pick some of this up you wont be disappointed.
