The Razor A4 Kick Scooter is Razor's newest replacement of the popular Razor Pro Model Scooter. Same great scooter with a new name. This is not your little brother's scooter! The A4 folding kick scooter is for riders needing a bit more performance, the A4 sports high speed bearings, full deck grip tape, thick foam grips, and a double stacked head tube clamp for extra strength. Originally designed and tested by Team Razor professional freestyle riders, and is built for rugged durability and pro-grade performance. Features a double-stacked head clamp for added head tube strength and a lightweight yet rigid body frame constructed of 100 percent aircraft-grade aluminum. The scooter measures four by 27 by 13.5 by 36.75 inches (W x H x D) when fully assembled, weighs eight pounds, and additionally features extra-thick foam handles for an optimal balance of comfort and non-slip grip, a must for serious tricksters. Riders will appreciate the A4's full-deck grip tape, which is specially designed by Team Razor pro rider Ricky Wernicke, and provides maximum traction both on the ground and in the air. Recommended for ages 6 and older and will support a rider up to 220 pounds.

Sturdy, smooth, and fast!
Right when you open the box within 10 seconds it is put together and the kids are ready to ride. Of course as a responsible adult I had to try it first. Now I got this for my boys because they are over a hundred fifty pounds and the normal scooters just don't hold up. I weigh 215 pounds and I'm six foot tall and it held up to me very well. There was no flex in the arm or in the body as it went down the hill. I will let you know that the scooter is fast. It has upgraded bearings and wheels so it is super smooth as well. And wheels so it is super smooth as well. You cannot beat the price on Amazon and you definitely can't find something comparable for the same price that's going to hold up. I would definitely buy these again.

5 year old & 33 year old both like this
My son wanted a scooter that could grow with his 5 year old daughter. She is tall for her age and is very comfortable on this. Liked it well enough to buy second, so my son can ride with her. Works for both of them

THE Scooter for the seasoned skater!
The original classic. Not for everyone, probably, as you need some experience with skating etc., to be really comfortable on this thing. For someone less experienced or more "cautious" I'd recommend something with larger wheels. However, if you're familiar with flying down the tarmac on two tiny wheels already than the Razor A4 is your machine! Great price to boot!

Initially it was great but that only for a couple of weeks
I would definitely not buy this scooter again. Initially it was great but that only for a couple of weeks. At that point the folding and unfolding mechanism started to stick, making it really difficult to get it opened and closed. By about 5 weeks I could no longer get it folded at all. It's not possible for me to carry it on the city bus in the open position so I essentially can't use it any more. Had to buy myself a new scooter today and I went with a different brand. Also note, there isn't a way through Amazon (which is how I bought it) to contact the seller to file a complaint or request a replacement.

Works great for a person of 5'10" and 170lbs
Works great for a person of 5'10" and 170lbs. I bought it to use on small college campus as it would be less hassle to keep up with than a bike. Folds up small enough to bring into classroom and feels pretty sturdy while riding.disclaimers:brakes useless while wet.face plants occur if the wheel gets caught while riding along cracks between two pieces of sidewalk.

Faulty Instructions
The scooter is fine for older kids, but the instructions are so bad I almost returned it thinking it was broken. You have to extend the handlebars up all the way, then loosen the clamp and insert the t-bar into the fork. If you don't extend the handlebars all the way up (which is nowhere in the instructions) then the two pieces won't fit together.

Good for Fun, but not a viable form of transportation.
The construction is great! It's very sturdy, and gives me the least amount of maintenance problems of all the Razors I own. However, the tiny wheels can't handle an urban sidewalk. Even the smallest crack can trip you up. I believe if they used this frame combined with the bigger wheels of the Carbon Lux would be nice. But ultimately, buy one with shock absorbers. It costs more, it will save your knees and feet a lot of pain.

Don't buy any other brand!
Nobody makes a Scooter as good as Razor. My kids use their scooters more than their bikes. This Razor scooter replaced a well worn one by another name brand. I tried it myself and you can feel the quality and stability - the wheels are gummy and smooth. This scooter would work for most adults (its adjustable) - in my case its being used by an 8 year old who loves it. If they could design it so it puts itself away it would be perfect! The box is relatively small and could easily be wrapped and carried to someones house as a gift. Highly recommended

Lots of fun for me; I’m 45!
This unit is fun for everyone. I weight 180 lbs5’9”. We’ll built but sometimes hard to fold. Overall a great unit.Watch for cracks in the road or you’ll flip. Also I highly recommend you buy gloves when riding so if you fall down the land on your hands will not be so bad.

but it's really bad on uneven terrain
stuuuurdy! and it's not heavy.but it makes a lot of noise on rough/uneven surface and kinda hurt my head from shaking.cut my commute time in a half, no more 40 minutes walk to school. also provides good exercise :Dwould buy another model with smoother ride
