The Orbit adjustable 360 pattern spray replace my 1/4 and 1/2 spray. I used this adjustable head on my existing extension 1/2” pipes and also my pop up springers(remove the black color and use head and filter only). To adjust head you merely screw in the adjustable head, making sure to have the printed triangle symbol pointed to the right of your pipe/pop up sprinkler. Then turn the head to the desired angle of watering. You dont need a screwdriver. You will need two adjustable channel lock wrenches, one to hold the pipe and one to loosen the old pop up sprinkler head to R/R old sprinkler head. I dont have any dryspots in my ground cover.

Best design by far. You can twist the top to adjust the range of the spray. Ideal design for all applications except opposite side version.

This throws a nice pattern about 35-40 feet in diameter at 50 lbs street pressure and if windy has a nice super mist thing outside that pattern too. Works exactly as it says nice quality brass piece too. Thanks!

There were absolutely no directions on how to adjust this and none on their web site. Champion is better.
