Absolutely awesome. I don't often leave reviews, but felt I needed to for this. I should point out that I ordered two sets of these, after having totally destroyed my first set trying to put it on. I got it on the 5th try. The Surface screen is enormous, and was difficult to apply without getting specs of dust underneath. Here are some recommendations so you don't do what I did.I followed "the hinge method", where you don't remove any of the protective plastic from the protector, tape it to one side (I picked the top) and ensured it all lined up the way I wanted. Dust the screen protector (again, without removing the protective plastic, and then the screen using the included cloth. Then double check one more time everything lines up. Remove the #1 side of the protector (the side you're applying), and carefully apply it from the hinge side, being careful of bubbles. Lift up a bit if you need to. If you see specs of dust, pull the screen protector back, and using a piece of masking tape, touch the dust, whether on the screen or on the protector. It won't leave marks, but should remove the dust. Continue working your way to the opposite end, and you should be good to go. remove the masking tape from the screen protector, smooth out any bubbles on the hinge edge you didn't see, then remove the #2 side. I applied my screen protector without any dust or bubbles using this method after a few tries. Good luck!I should point out that while I like the matte version much better, it does change the friction between the screen and the Surface Pen, so keep that in mind.

The media could not be loaded. I tried to take a good video so y’all can see how nice the anti-glare is! But what I really wrote the review about is this->Beware that the installing part is extremely complicated. I had to use all three protectors because as soon as you take off the film, it’s like it attracts lint. So what I ended up doing on the third one, and what I recommend y’all doing, is measure it before taking the film off, have a good idea of how you are going to place it, and then just do it. Do it as fast as possible, because in seconds, lint WILL start getting attached to the sticky side. That’s why I am giving it a 4/5.

For the price these are amazing protectors. The installation process is similar to any other standard screen protector so its not super fun to deal with. But once its on, screen glare is almost gone. This protector does have the rainbow/diffraction affect but since the surface book's resolution is so high, you cant really tell at all unless you look closely.Another bonus I wasnt expecting was the feel of the stylus while writing. It feels much more tactile like a real pencil and makes it more pleasurable to use. However you WILL need to get the stylus tip kit and use one of the smoother tips wit this surface as the default tip is much too grippy to use effectively.

The films were dusty so after I cleaned my screen dust from the packaging would just get the surface all dusty again.

I purchased this item to use on my SurfaceBook 2. It fits perfectly. I bought it because I use my SurfaceBook to draw on and needed a more matte paper like surface for my pen since I was used to a Wacom. This fit the bill and feels very nice and natural like drawing on paper. It also makes fingerprints much more discreet. Easy to clean, just wipe it down to remove any smudges.

As expected, I managed to botch my first attempt installing this screen protector, getting a fair amount of dust under it that caused annoying imperfections. I expected that, though, which is why this 3-pack was attractive for me. The second one went on almost perfectly -- perfectly enough for me, though still with a few stubborn edge bubbles that just won't go away.I was concerned about distortion of images and light scattering, based on seeing other matte protectors on other devices, but haven't experienced that at all with this one, and it works beautifully for reducing glare. I do transcription work from home, sitting in a chair in front of a window, and never have to worry about reflections stabbing me in the eye with this protector, as I often experienced with my previous laptop.

First off my experience was far different from half the reviews on this product, because I actually paid for mine instead of received it for free. I am going to echo a previous reviewer and say that this screen saver is extremely hard to install, you will go through at least 1-2 of the 3 they give you just trying to install it without any dust. The squeegee they give you is useless, its basically a business card. The cloth wipe they give you is useless as well and will leave little threads all over your device when you try to use it. You need to install this in a completely dust free environment. When installing the protector don't worry about air bubbles as those seem to be pushed out fairly easy with a credit card, however, if you lift the screen protector even 1 small time in order to adjust the fit it will attract any and all dust and you will have dust bubbles that you cannot remove. The screen protector itself is nice and actually has a nice matte finish. If you are using the B or 2B nibs on your surface pen its practically impossible to write onscreen, however, if you change to the H or 2H nibs that you get from the surface nibs kit writing on this surface feels remarkably like paper. This is the main reason why I bought this screen protector as I paint/draw on my surface book and it does well in this regard. The screen protector is relatively clear there is a little haze but I don't notice it much. Overall the screen protector is a good buy but due to the useless squeegee, cloth wipe, and the hard installation I can only give this product 3 star.
