Q: is this pencil worth the extra money over a $30 pencil?

It’s just like buying skincare/cosmetics from a place like Sephora over Walgreens… the experience is half the joy, plus you don’t end up blindly buying 825 knock-offs that may or may not perform the way you want or need them to. I purchased an Apple Pencil 2nd gen for myself and a $25 knock-off for my 6yo son (whom we gifted an iPad Air to for his birthday). The annoyance of having to plug that thing in or remind him to stuff it back in the slot on his iPad case is a hassle. Moral of the story: my son asks me to draw on my iPad MINI using my Apple Pencil vs drawing on his iPad AIR using some cheap knock-off due to the inconvenience. Do yourself a favor and buy the best product the first time around.

Actually this pencil does work with the 2nd generation pro I looked it up and asked customer service they said it does so if you have the pro 11 inch second generation this pencil will in fact work
