Stat won’t turn off no matter what setting

Great, but reliability issues
Great system, so easy to use - from anywhere in the world. But, I have had to replace all 7 thermostats over the past 10 years, so reliability is suspect. Great shame.

Good timer, switching current too low
This is a good timer, clear display, lots of programming options, holiday setting and can connect up with the whole house system. It would be even better, and far more flexible, if it had switching current higher than 3A which would allow it to switch an electric immersion heater. In my application, I had to source and install a third-party external contactor. Also, the back plate size is just a couple of mm too small to install neatly on a pattress box.

Hopelessly unreliable
After installing 15 version 1 units which all failed, Heatmiser support was not interested and said we should replace them with v2. The first 2 of these have now failed after less than a year. There is clearly a design fault with these and there are better (smart home based) systems around now anyway.
