UBERSTAR Carry Cup - 12oz / 350ml - Ceramic Coffee Cup with Thermal Silicone Sleeve and Open/Close Lid (Blush Pink)

This ticks all my boxes for a cup to take on a dog walk. I didn't need a cup to keep my drink hot as I can't drink really hot drinks, and it didn't have to be leakproof. My main criteria was that it doesn't make the drink taste of plastic, and it's perfect for that. If I make a coffee at home, it just about fits my Fiat 500 cup holder, helped by the silicone cover but I also use it at takeaway coffee cabin before my walks to save on waste. It also goes in the microwave & dishwasher. If you need a cup to be leakproof and keep your drink hot then maybe it's not for you, but if you're looking for a reusable cup that can be carried and doesn't taste of metal or plastic, then this is a great buy.

I replaced a metal Thermos mug with this ceramic version as I was having issues with tea staining the metal and it being quite difficult to clean. This ceramic version is easier to clean as stains come off ceramic easier than stainless steel but firstly it’s a narrower, it’s harder to get all the way to the bottom. Secondly and more importantly, the lid is missing a vacuum hole so if your mouth completely covers the hole you drink out of, it creates a vacuum so little to no liquid actually comes out. I’m considering drilling a small hole but worried about the micro plastics that will come off into my tea. Not great guys, sorry. Maybe for the next version, add a separate hole..

Good design otherwise but it's false advertisement as it does not fit in any of our cars drink holder.

I wanted a cup that still felt like a normal tea mug but had a lid for walking around the office with. This is ideal, it was difficult to find a ceramic mug. The lid does leak, but I didn’t expect it not to, however it has saved my keyboard when I knocked it over once, just a few drips escaped rather than the whole hot cup of tea

Nice to hold and easy to clean. The silicone seal on the lid is a bit flimsy so doesn’t fully hold the heat or remain leak proof.Looks great.

Only used a couple of times so far but pleased with it. It’s not huge but I didn’t want a big cup, it keeps your drink warm but not scorching, prefer it to cool a bit as others I have used keep the drink at molten lava temperature. It goes in the dishwasher fine so easy to clean. In terms of it being leak proof the lid does not go on super tight so I would say it is fine for stopping spills in the car when in the drink holder, and fine for walking along with it upright, but would definitely leak if out in a bag and shook a lot. The rubber surround on it is very nice, grippy and just gets warm to the touch.I’m very happy with it, not massive, keeps the drink warm, doesn’t spill in the car and looks pretty good too.

Exactly what I’ve been looking for. No taste when drinking without a lid and less than normal with the lid. Doesn’t keep my black coffees unnecessarily blisteringly hot, yet you can hold it from fresh without burning hands. Fits in cardholder (just). Great look and satisfying to hold. Only negative is you need to keep it upright, I knew this before buying. I would say it’s more like 10oz of coffee safely. Would definitely recommend based on coffee flavour alone, especially if you drink without the lid.

I really wanted to love this but I found that despite not using actual milk ever, the plastic just doesn't come up clean and it still suffers from the lasting smell so if you have coffee in it you can't have tea, the lid also pops off repeatedly just sitting there, the insulation is rubbish so very easy to burn your hand and don't expect this to stop spills as the lid will. not stay on. overall looks beautiful but it's just not functional
