GRILLME Fire Pot Burn Pot and Hot Rod Ignitor Kit Replacement for Traeger Pellet Grill with Screws and Fuse

We really needed this and with a quickness. I inherited a Traeger from a deceased relative.. Little did we know the burn pot and ignitor was no good. We planned a big party for the next day with smoked meat. Thank goodness we found this item and it was delivered early AM. Saved the whole day and it worked perfectly.

I am extremely pleased with the Burn Box and Hot Rod for my Treager Tailgater Grill. Installation was easy with results achieved. While having the Grill apart for repair I replaced the 5 amp fuse and vacuumed the Auger area. Great to have Amazon stock repair parts for Treager Grills.

My traeger stopped heating up and decided to give this a try. Looked up how to do it on YouTube. Followed the video and it took me about an hour to swap out the fire pot and hot rod. It now works perfectly. Saved me from having to buy a new smoker. I could not be happier.

Fire pot quit working in my Traeger, ordered this, fast shipping, actually a better quality unit, a little heavier gage metal makes it a little harder to install, but 5 years later still works perfect.

I purchased this replacement part for my 10 year old Trager Junior that would no longer ignite the pellets. I didn’t really need a new hot pot but bought both to be sure they were compatible with each other. I will include pictures comparing the kit to the OEM equipment (there are slight differences the OEM igniter seems to be a little more heavy duty) but it does the job. (Whether it lasts as long remains to be seen.) Installation is very easy: remove the four screws that secure the hot pot, pull it away from the tube that contains the worm gear, give it a slight twist to either side of the tube and pull it out and away. Loosen the retaining screw and (if you are lucky) the igniter will pull away from the hot pot. At this point you will need to expose the bundle of wires where the igniter plugs in. If this is the first time you’ve made the repair it might be easiest to remove the pellet box. Empty all pellets from the box. Remove the switch and temperature control unit (2 screws) and insert it into its opening inside of the box. Then remove the four screws that hold the box in place (two on either side closest to the housing. There is no need to remove the four screws that secure the bottom cage.) The pellet box will now fall away revealing the fan, motor and worm screw along with all wires. Find the plug attached to the old igniter and unplug it, then do everything in reverse to make the replacement. (It is possible to do all of this by loosening bottom four screws of the cage to access the wires (if you’re comfortable working on your back).

Fit perfectly in my traeger! Burns nicely, well made, money spent well!

Wasn't sure how a non OEM traeger part would work or last but the fire pot surprised me with how heavy and the thick Guage of the steel construction. Used it 3 times now for longer cooks and works perfectly.

We were able to restore our old Traeger grill, and give it many more years of service.

Product arrived in perfect condition and was easy to install, after about 15 uses the rod has failed and now I need to replace it.
