when does this ship out?

I cancelled my order on Dec 20 because a email sent to me said the new delivery date would be middle of January. If I don't respond, Amazon will cancel it anyway. After talked Amazon customer service, they said the reason for this long delay for me was about I also pre-ordered for other models, a SD Sazabi and a SD nu gundam. And they cannot to ship the order separately, even though the Wing Gundam Zero is in stock. It took long negotiation with Amazon to get my promo credits on prime day back. And they gave me $25 promo credit as compensation. Actually, in this case, Amazon should refund my 2 month prime membership as they missed guaranteed delivery several times. Simultaneously, I made order in USA gundam store. However it doesn't seem to be able to catch the holidays, either. Finally, a conclusion, Amazon pre-order never worked in my cases.

Does this mg have a stand?

Yes. You need to build it though.

Is this a 2.0 or is it going to share parts from the 2004 kit?

Neither. Only 2 runners use the old parts, and they're really minor parts. "2.0" implies updating existing parts, which this isn't doing. It's a ground up redesign

Is my pre order going to get canceled like my hgac heavy arms did because you didn’t get enough inventory?

This is not the only reason they cancel your order. I pre-ordered a Grado headphone years ago, 2017 or 2018, the price was around $100. When the headphones in stock, the price raised to $200 and Amazon cancelled my order without any notification on the very same day, and even removed the order record. Lucky I found my pre-order email and talked to customer service. Initially the first agent blamed me that I was the person cancelled the order and hanged off my call very rudely. I was pissed and called again, after several transfer to a very high level person very late after 12pm. He said he could compensate the price difference and I could make the order again. Then the headphone got out of stock, I had no chance to see it back again.

Just started to get into Gunpla and this model looks great to build with some time and patience. Just started some basic kits to learn with but this kit doesn't seem to challenging with some patience.

This thing is absolutely GORGEOUS

The color separation is amazing, the articulation and posing are fantastic, the wings hold themselves up SURPRISINGLY WELL (but you WILL need to use the stand if you want to do any kind of posing because they're too heavy for the kit to stand up on its own). I'm not really a fan of Gundam Wing, but this is a beautiful kit and I'm glad to own it. A quick note: the top wings have a gimmick which opens the feathers on opposite sides when you pull them out. They need to be ALIGNED CORRECTLY BEFORE YOU SANDWICH THE TOP AND BOTTOM WING PARTS TOGETHER. On my first wing I had them a couple notches off so they didn't close properly and I had a real pain getting the wing back apart again. So it's not the EASIEST kit in the world, but it's not terribly difficult, either. If you're a total beginner I would recommend going with a High Grade like the RX-78-2 Origins or Revive models. But this is a kit that any Gunpla collector would be proud to have in their collection.
