Product Review: TP-Link Deco X60 I recently purchased the TP-Link Deco X60, and I must say I am thoroughly impressed and satisfied with my investment. This product is definitely worth its cost. The setup process was incredibly easy, and it paired seamlessly with my Etisalat router. One of the standout features of the Deco X60 is its exceptional performance. In most rooms of my double-story villa, I experienced the same internet speed as if I were directly connected via an Ethernet line. Even in the areas with slightly weaker signals, I only encountered a 10-15% loss in speed, which is still more than sufficient for my needs. What sets the Deco X60 apart is its extensive coverage. It effortlessly blankets my entire villa, ensuring a strong and stable connection in every corner. Moreover, it reaches up to 20 meters outside of my house, allowing me to stay connected even in my outdoor spaces. In conclusion, I highly recommend the TP-Link Deco X60 to anyone with a double-story villa or a large home. Its easy setup, excellent performance, and extensive coverage make it a top-notch choice for improving your wireless network. With this product, you can enjoy seamless connectivity throughout your entire property, both indoors and outdoors.

This product is much cheaper than others because it is dual band not tri-band. This means that the communication between the units that makes the mesh work is done on the same 5G radio band that your other devices are connected to. Tri-band routers have an extra band that is dedicated for the mesh communication or backhaul leaving the normal 5G band empty for devices. Hence, if you are using ethernet to do the backhaul you don't need the third band in your mesh WiFi as your devices will never use it making this product a winner at half the price. I had two Netgear Orbi's before this one including the utterly dreadful RBR850 which simply would not work properly. I returned the unit twice. By comparison, these units work well, set-up is pretty straight forward and all the WiFi problems I had had with Orbi were solved. Strongly recommend if using Ethernet backhaul. I cant speak to how good it is using WiFi backhaul. read the other reviews for that. One downside is that TP-Link is Chinese and as you can access your mesh network from outside your home, it means that the data of how your network is performing is probably being captured on a server in Shenzhen, China. I run this in Access Point Mode meaning that the only data that Tp-Link gets is the devices IDs and which node they are connected to which I don't think is a problem. This is something to bear in mind if you intend to use this product as your network router.

Funciona muy bien. Vivo en una casa muy grande con paredes de piedra y es la única solución que me ha funcionado para tener cobertura en todas las estancias. El traslado entre hospots ni se nota. La app es muy completa. Todo perfecto

Habe gerade den 4. Satz dieser Decos gekauft. Das Mesh WLAN läuft top. Aber ich habe jetzt bereits das 2. Mal einen Satz mit Netzteilen bekommen die mit Steckern für das Vereinigte Königreich ausgestattet sind. Muss dafür schon das 2. Mal Adapter besorgen, damit ich sie bei uns in Österreich benutzen kann.

You are not allowed to configure this devices without running their Android/iOS application (which requires your real email, BTW) at all. And of course it requires access to your location and other privacy nightmare. Personally to me this is absolutely unacceptable.

Ottimo Mesh, installati 6 in Villetta 3 piani. Funziona molto bene
