Root Awakening Health Infusing Shampoo by John Frieda for Normal Hair Unisex Shampoo, 8.45 Ounce

There are several different formulations of John Frieda's Root Awakening line. This one is Health Infusing. The bottle says that it "invigorates & feeds the roots for bouncy, shiny, radiant hair."For the last 6-8 months, I have been using this shampoo along with the matching conditioner, which I have also reviewed (note that I bought them in KMart, not on Amazon).This formulation contains natural eucalyptus, which gives it a lovely fresh, but not overpowering, scent. As someone who is very sensitive to strong fragrances, it was important to me that the product smell nice but that the fragrance not be too strong. This product fits the bill.What I love most about the shampoo is its thick, gel-like texture, which turns into silky fine bubbles when you massage it into your hair. It both smells good and feels good!This product comes in a top-down container (you sit the product on its cap, like the newer toothpaste tubes), so that there is always adequate product on demand when you're ready to use it. The container's flip-top cap is easy to use in the shower and gives a distinct "click" when it is closed.I've been using these products for months now, and they are still half-full. Considering they are only 8.45 fl. oz. containers, I think that is pretty good! I have small hands, and much prefer a smaller container to the huge ones that I have a hard time handling with one hand when wet.Recommended!

Hair feels good after shampooing and is very shiny and very manageable. Hair loss has decreased from using other products.

Unreasonably expensive (rip off!) mediocre quality
