Ugly laser etching
It's a nice looking product but they decided to add a laser etch to the product and now it looks ugly. Other reviews and the product photo does not show this.

Worth it
This is a pretty solid and good doorstop. The instructions were good. The magnet is strong. The only downside has nothing to do with the doorstop. When installing they provide these cheap non expanding wall anchors, which when installed the magnet pulled them right out the wall. So I had to use my own drywall anchors and it works perfect. So I would say as long as you got different anchors then you’ll have no problem.

Terrible contrasting laser engraved markings not present in advertisement photos
I had purchased these before and they are fantastic quality and work wonderfully. On second purchase, they had terrible white engraving of the company name on black in a highly visible area. This is not shown in the pictures online and was not present in previous purchases.I am of the impression that most of us never want to see the brand names on our fixtures in our home. Companies like mohen and kohler will always hide their logo to make it very indiscreet. This is blaringly obvious and distracting. I kept them but only because I spray painted them.

Wish they were stronger
Installation was pretty straight-forward. Take your time measuring out the placement and you'll be fine. One gripe: they're not as strong as I expected. I have two installed (one high and one low) on an exterior door that we keep open during the day. I assumed two stops would be sufficient to hold the door open. Unfortunately, wind gusts still bounce the door free from their magnets. One unexpected plus, the stops do a great job to cushion a runaway door from slamming open and stressing the hinges. For that, this product gets 4 stars.

Working for my shed doors!
Using this for my shed doors, so not the typical installation. Instead of using a Hook and Eye to manually hold the door open this is automatic and hands free. We will see how it holds up after the first winter. I'll probably hit it with some light oil to help. I did not use the included screws. They did not seem long enough.

Much better ones available Home Depot or Lowe's
Have no idea what the center post is for. In theory it should hold it to the wall as an expanding anchor, but you can't tighten the center nut enough to cause the metal to expand. The ones at the Home Depot are held in with three screws screwed into anchors. The problem with these are the screws are too small for the anchors and they strip out the anchors with hardly any tightening at all. I would not recommend these unless you have larger screws on hand. The units themselves are nice looking and would work well if the supplied screws were larger.

USE REAL ANCHORS
Firstly -- do NOT use the garbage anchors they give you. They don't hold well at all and if you put the magnets together it will rip right out of the wall. -1 starThe stops themselves are very nice. However, i had to misalign the magnets because fitting them perfectly together is VERY strong. I had to try harder than i want to in order to get them apart. After some time i bet i'll rip the thing right out of the wall again... -1 starSo after i used my actual anchors, aligned the door part slightly at the top of the wall part, it works very well. It holds the door gently and well.

Magnets A Little TOO STRONG
Honestly, the design looks nice enough for my use, but the magnets are so strong I’m afraid they’re going to bend the door trying to get them to release. I’m using this inside on a hollow core bathroom door that wants to swing closed all the time, so my use might be a little odd. But I’ve chosen to modify it slightly with a smaller contact point to reduce the magnet’s grip just a little. It works ok. It is a little loud when it makes contact but I don’t know how to avoid that. Maybe a rubber coating on the contact point.

Good product
Installed this door stop on an outside gate to hold it open. It has only been in use one week but works well currentlyFitting the unit was OK but the concern was the compromise between the strength of holding the door open verse the unit fixings coming loose. I have fixed it into a brick wall one side and used self taping screws into an aluminium gate for the receiver. Looks good and working well at the moment. If i remember I will update again in a couple of months to confirm the fixings are still good

Very Strong!
Really strong magnets. If you are fixing to a skirting board, just be careful to screw the skirting boards back as they magnetic strength is strong and will over time pull the skirting to bow or similar.Really good product, I have heavy fire doors, and i love that I can push against the magnet and my door remains open! I have black doors and skirting so really blends in well.Only downside, is the company logo is plastered all over the product and find that quite necessary.

Just ok
Easy to fit and looked really good. Do the job well if installed correctly i.e perfectly aligned.2 months in though and they've already started to rust. Can't be bothered to return so I'll leave them in place until they need replacing with something better
