Have yet to test it on rain or windbut it looks strong & well made price is great compared to other ones just alikeUpdate feb/23/2016 I am very much appreciatand I have no words to describe, how useful this umbrella was" and how it was able to handle the wind. without breaking or tearing apartit was withstanding winds that people had to close their umbrellaI am so happy about this purchase it was turned upside down from every angle, in and out. the wind was nearly 50 miles an hour after the ghost and this umbrella was able to function!!! especially was testing it!!! because when the wind is so strong with the rain no umbrella in the world really is going to be able to protect you but I wanted to see if this umbrella stands out and it did... because of its flexibility it was able and of course with its strong qualityto withstand every single way of attack from the wind this I couldn't believeand I can tell you this is the truth... I have experienced and I was amazed. and my umbrella is nothing of a sign that it was even used today. and I highly recommend this company I and just share my experience the wind came from the front I was fighting it with the point from the umbrella to see, and it's stood strongit was able to be flexible enough to handle the wind... then I put ot in the back position which means like a parachuteand it was turning the umbrella upside down beautiful split second up and down up and down many timesand again"" wow"" all I can say is wow..this umbrella in the wind are like they love each other and they don't want to fight each other that's all I can say ..so I can end thisif you were looking for an umbrella that can withstand the wind that you can't hold the umbrella in your handsbecause technically the win wasc so strong that holding the umbrella was just for the test very strong appreciation and I have no words to describe.... Fairly sturdy, used as outside yard decoration. Has stayed up through winds and rain.

Of course it didn't rain for the longest time and when it finally did my umbrella was in the garage because I cleaned out my car. Seems to be a quality item. Wish I didn't live in the high desert.

Designed for use in Racoon City, we find it works perfectly well in other locales, too. Two full grown adults can dodge zombies and the rain while sporting the company logo in style. Stabbing function has room for improvement; as soon as we reach a safe place to hole up for the night, I plan to sharpen the tip.Overall, good construction, decent protection - oh no, I hear something - gotta go.

Works very well in high wind and the size offers alot of rain protection... after buying one... I returned for 3 more.. keep two in each car. No r regrets.

As others reviews stated made to be used in Racoon City! I have found it useful in other areas as well.Actually, it is a great full "human" sized umbrella, two fit under it nicely. Good arch and nice handle length.Sturdy construction.

Tough umbrella. We had 40 - 50 mile an hour winds and freezing rain, it was hard to keep the umbrella open in the wind, but it did not break.

I have some issues with the mechanism to keep the umbrella open. Sometimes works fine and sometimes suddenly closes, completely unexpected.

Excellent product. It took a while to receive it. But well worth it.
