I have dermatilomania -- I pick incessantly and mindlessly at my cuticles and the skin around my nails. Jose when my finger goes searching for skin imperfections to pick at, I redirect to the ring. It doesn't work 100% but it helps A LOT. I wear it just above my knuckle where it's easy to reach.

I've had this ring for about 2 weeks now and just had to write a review. I've had the nervous/bored habit of picking at my fingers since I was a kid. I can't remember the last time I've not had at least one nail bed torn up and bloody. For people with similar habits, I can't recommend this ring enough. It's a great, nondistracting way to redirect fidgety behaviors. I've worn it every day since receiving it and for the first time in years I have intact nail beds! Every time I catch myself starting to pick at a dry patch of skin or uneven cuticle on my finger, I rotate the ring a few times and the impulse disappears.My ring size ranges from 6-7 depending on the finger and ring, so I bought the 7. It fits perfectly on fingers I usually wear a 6.5 comfortably on, mostly my index finger so I can manipulate the ring with my thumb. I bought the rose gold and was very impressed by the quality. It looks very nice on my finger and goes well with other rings I own. The rotating mechanism is smooth. When I hold one finger on the mechanism and roll it back and forth, there's no sound at all. When I spin the mechanism quickly or flick it to one side, there's a small metallic sound. When I move my hand quickly while wearing the ring, the rotating portion will jostle a bit and make a light clinking noise. I don't consider the sounds to be distracting for daily wear, and think they're on par with the sounds you'd hear from dangling earrings or wearing several bracelets on the same wrist. So far I haven't had a problem with wearing the ring while washing my hands during the day.If you're considering this ring, I would encourage you to purchase it. I especially recommend it to anyone looking for a nondistracting way to redirect bad habits or get out fidgety energy when you otherwise can't. I've gotten compliments on the ring's appearance and am definitely considering trying another color or two. The other day I painted my nails and can't get over how nice they look with healthy, intact cuticles. I couldn't be happier!

I got the rose gold and it is daintier than I imagined it would be, but I was expecting some ugly thick wedding band looking thing that I would wind up returning. But to my pleasant surprise I am keeping the ring but it not only looks nice but spins very nicely too. I wear a size 7 ring so I ordered the 7 and it fits like a glove - not tight or loose at all. Seems to be ok in water as well as the first day I wore it I forgot I had it on and did the dishes with it! But I think it actually just cleaned it because all that happened was an increase in shine. It is not completely silent when you spin it, as some people have asked me what I was doing not because they saw my fingers move but because they heard the ring spinning. For me that’s not a big deal since this happened in quiet settings (dinner table and during class) but it is something to keep in mind if that’s a dealbreaker for you. (Excuse my dry winter hands! It's a losing battle)I bought this ring because I have dermatillomania where I unconsciously pick at my lips, causing them to get sore and chapped--then I pick more! So far this has been a tactile distraction when I'm anxious and it has helped me stop picking.The good: the ring is comfortable and spins easily. I got the rose gold color and it's quite unique, and more vibrant/sparkly than the pic shows. The fit is true - I ordered a size up so I can wear it on multiple fingers (I like it on my thumb for one-handed spinning)The bad/less good: it does make a bit of a jingling/rattling noise when it spins, or when using your hands. But it's much quieter than a couple bangle bracelets or some of my dangly earrings. The sandblasted texture can be scratchy if you rub your face accidentally.Overall I quite like it and want to get the rainbow color next!

Having suffered with debilitating pain for many years, I'm determined to live narcotic free. Having ADHD, I long learned that one part of my brain needs to be busy so the primary part of my brain can concentrate on whatever it is the task is. Thinking totally out of the box, I decided to try this as my first "fidget ring". I chose this for the price alone. I ordered my ring size. It fits on my ring finger & my thumb perfectly; I also put it on my index finger for variety; it rests just below the middle knuckle. This ring has proven to keep my mind busy when the pain becomes distracted by it. I find the sand blasted surface to be comforting. This ring spins quite freely & without much effort. I can remove it with ease as long as my joints aren't swollen. I sort through donations for work, so it gets dirty & gets hit with alcohol wipes often. After a month, the ring still looks brand new & still spins with great ease. I now only notice my pain 23.5 hours a day. I consider this money very well spent.

I've had this ring for over six months and it's still going strong. I wear it in the shower, swimming pool, and at night and it still looks as good as new. The spinning portion dose get gunked up depending on what kind of hand soap I use, but all I need to do is give it a good wash in dish soap with hot water and its as good as new. It helps to keep me from picking on my cuticles and to help me concentrate while I'm studying. All in all, I am very satisfied with this ring and would recommend it to anyone looking for a spinner ring.

I ordered this ring because I suffer from anxiety and panic attacks, it really does help turning it to calm myself down, plus it looks really good too!!

Is a good idea for anxiety definitely however they come up small for the sizing definitely as I ordered two that are ment to be our sizes but they don't fit the fingers they were bought for at all

I bought my usual size but it did go on a wee bit snugly. Once on it is a good (and pretty) distraction. I noticed I had fewer of my anxiety tics wearing this.

Amazing Brought this for my daughter and she absolutely loves it I’ve got it in a size 54 which fits her perfectly this stress spin ring is absolutely stunning the picture doesn’t actually do it justice it’s great value for money highly highly recommended

My teenager is embarrassed by the usual fiddle toys but this is discreet and won't annoy the teachers in class. Has been a hit since Christmas and helps regulate her.
