K.P.Namboodiri's Ayurvedic Tooth Powder - 80g

I've been using this for a couple months now and wanted to wait before I wrote a review. I really like this tooth powder. My teeth were a bit sensitive the first week or so but I've gotten used to it. It tastes mainly like cinnamon to me, and it does keep my breath fresh all day. I've used toothpaste on a recent trip and I could feel a difference. With toothpaste I had a bad taste after a few hours. I've also noticed much less gingivitis and bleeding from my gums as well. I haven't been to the dentist yet but I'm excited to see what they say about the health of my teeth and gums.

Cleans teeth well. Good flavor. Easy to pour bottle. Packaged well. Delivered on time.

The results are so good and fast. Use it regularly and one will find the difference.

As a teeth cleaner and breath freshener, this powder is really good. The powder makes my teeth look and feel clean in a way that lasts all day, unless I eat something garlicky :) My dental area feels clean and natural. Note that the teeth may look cleaner, but not whiter, though this powder isn't advertised as a whitening agent. The flavor is pretty strong, but I'm someone who enjoys that kind of strong, herbal flavor. And the price is really good for a fairly large size package!The reason I'm not giving this five stars is because of the packaging, which only allows to open a lid for a small opening to deposit the powder onto tooth brush, but does not allow to remove the whole cap. This is an issue because the powder is very loose and leaves a mess all over the sink, and I need to clean the sink after each use. If I could unscrew the lid I could dip the tooth brush into the powder, to scoop up the powder without needing to spill it out. But the cap cannot be removed without breaking it off.

Felt a difference from the first use. The taste is wonderful. I'll never use regular toothpaste again. This will last for quite sometime, there's a lot in the can

I've made my own herbal toothpowder in the past and loved it. I thought it would be like that. When you read the ingredients and add everything up, you notice that 60% of the product is "base and flavoring". What does that mean? Who knows, but I don't get the sense it's 100% herbs. The texture overall reminds me of powder from a brick, which makes me wonder if it's too abrasive for my enamel.I'll keep using it, brushing lightly, because it does have a pretty satisfying flavor and my mouth feels clean. I'm not sure if I've found anything better (other than the homemade stuff).

Dentist saw a difference after a couple of months, wondered what I'd been doing differently.

I was excited to try this product after the good reviews I read. When I received it the container was already opened and there was powder all over it. The bottle was less than half full. I don’t really know what 80 g should look like but I don’t know why it would fill less than half of a bottle. This may still be a good product but I am returning it because of the condition it was sent in.
