Sony PlayStation Classic - PlayStation (Renewed)

This is a great idea for those who are really into nostalgic gaming. The console is highly functional and you have the option for expanding content if you so desire.

My husband loves it! It’s nostalgic to him. He loves the games, the quality of the product, and talking/playing about it for hours. Money well spent! Product game in good shape and on time. No complaints so far! I would recommend buying the game sticks that are sold separately. I think they’re “True Blue” crackhead pack or something if you want more games especially for 2 players. Love it!

The purchase of this product, (like my other attempt for nostalgic entertainment and fun), was money down the drain.. I gave two attempts of purchasing ps 1 to play one of my favorite past time games, (Madden 08).. However, both game consoles seemingly shared the same issue, (the motor did not engage)..

To play original games, with that feeling of nostalgia. Such a great buy and me and my family are enjoying it as we were when we originally played these games. The big house favorite is Finaly Fantasy 7 the original version.

The games included are underwhelming on the console without modding so modding this and adding your own games is a must. You will not regret it. Once modded with eris (or autobleem) the system quickly gains so much value. Honestly the game selection sony chose is laughable. Mr Driller? Intelligent Qube? A street fighter puzzle game? Seriously sony? Once you put the games you want on here its sooooo much better. I recommend following a video or guide when modding for obvious reasons but the whole process is super simple. Also, the controllers have no analog which is sad so i would recommend an 8bitdo adapter as well so you can use any controller you want. Overall I would only purchase this system if you have what you need to mod it. Not saying you can’t have fun with the games included but having hundreds or thousands of games on this thing is way better than a measly 20. This thing can even play more than just ps1 once modded! But yes only buy if you are going to mod it!

Only took me 2 hours to have hundreds of ROMs spanning 5 systems on this running RetroArch. Only took ne an hour to mod it with a 5 minute video. Amazing

The games play well and just like they did originally. There is no problem with the games and I'm not sad about the game selection. I don't like all of them but I knew that before I bought it. The UI is just not nice to look at. I have other "mini" consoles and the menu look and feel, the background music, the sounds as you go between games, all seem intentional on them, but here it doesn't seem like anyone cared to enhance the very first go at it. It is just ugly. Secondly, the cord for the controller is way too short. It's probably 3ft long. We don't play video games 3 feet away from a 35" console television anymore. Lastly, you get a USB cable for a power source. So expect to buy an extension cord for that and a plug that accept a USB. Once you're all set up, the games are great. The first GTA and FF7 along with metal gear solid are worth the purchase price on their own.

Do not buy. False advertisement as full playstation 1. Is not the case. Only allows preloaded games. Does not say this anywhere on the add. Box arrived battered and beaten. Will be returning.

Compré este PS1 Classic Mini en estado renewed, pero lo que recibí fue una gran decepción. La consola llegó visiblemente rayada, con un ligero olor desagradable, sin el cable HDMI original y con un cable de alimentación genérico de muy baja calidad. Para rematar, ni siquiera venía en su caja original, sino en una caja de cartón común. Nada de esto se especificaba claramente en la publicación. Parte de la experiencia de comprar esta consola es también tenerla completa y bien presentada, especialmente por el precio pagado. No lo recomiendo en absoluto. La voy a devolver.

Came exactly as described in good condition. I immediately modded mine and now have 1000+ games on it . These only come with 20 or so PS1 games. 10 minutes of research and about another 10 of modding and now it has every ps1 game plus I can add other games from other consoles . Good little emulation box

I returned this product because it is no use to me. I have many original games that do not fit this mini size console.
