For potters, mold making is invaluable because it allows them to slip-cast identical multiples of their work--and this newly revised, full-color edition of Andrew Martin's classic is the definitive guide to the craft. No other volume has shown the processes in such how-to detail. It's overflowing with hundreds of photos, key techniques, projects, master artist profiles, and troubleshooting tips. A thorough introduction addresses materials and tools, and presents Martin's simple, unique template method for making clay prototypes. Create easy one-piece molds to make tiles, bowls, and platters, or multi-piece molds for more complex forms. An extensive overview covers slip formulation, while offering highly desired slip recipes for low-, mid-, and high-fire clay bodies. This will be the standard reference in every ceramist's library. Review: This artist is a Real Pro - This book is SO WELL presented. It clearly teaches the many techniques for making simple and complex molds of many types, with common materials. I used his methods to make multi-part slip molds, that duplicated the appearance of ancient Chinese bronze vessels. Thank you, Mr Andrew Martin - Review: Outstandingly brilliant. Buy it! - One of the best pottery books I've ever bought. So much unique and in-depth information. Really well written with an easy to understand, step-by-step format accompanied by stunning photography. If you want to do anything at all to do with pottery mould making it will be covered in this book. I especially love the balance of technical information - which makes it so valuable - with inspirational examples of work from contemporary artists. It both inspires and informs, a genuinely brilliant book and one that will be used for the rest of my potting life!!!

複雑怪奇なデザインのモールドメーキング
見ていても楽しくなるデザインの型作り、日本の技法集ではあまり見かけない。いつか時間が出来たらトライしてみたい。

Bien, tapas duras
Está bien, para algo de información aunque no és la bomba.
