Hilarious yet you get a little misty-eyed

Really funny, messed up and kind of sad. Back in like the 1930's getting charged for a murder they didn't commit. They get life, and spend life trying to figure out how to get out.

Not a great movie

One thing that I admire with Eddie Murphy is that he can do an all black movie and you do not realise until you at the end of the movie due to the high standards of acting and jokes.This film does not fail with a supporting cast including Martin Lawrence, Bernie Mac and others so the jokes are at a high standardKeep it up Eddie!

I've always loved Eddie Murphy and Martin Laurence soooo i had to like this film, it's actually quite a well put together film, usually you would think a storyline like this wouldn't be very good but i loved it, 5 stars! and the only 1 star customer rating on here is one that isn't even rating the film...i don't get that, why are you rating the film 1 star when you didn't even get to see it...haha.

This film is pretty much Eddie Murphy's last really funny film, with the exception of the Shrek series. Murphy and Lawrence are convicts, after a series of events caused by Murphy's character. The movie really takes off when the characters are aged convicts, some of their dialogue is hilarious, a really entertaining watch.
