The first two out of the package lasted one use. Issues: warping, twisting, coming apart so that some charcoal ends up in grounds. The second twisted so that it fell out of the filter holder. A filter is supposed to last a month. The first one I used, the filter paper separated from the plastic ring and you could see the charcoal inside. Who knows if any of it ended up in my coffee? Charcoal isn't dangerous, I know, but it's hardly appetizing, and NOT what I want IN my coffee.The description clearly says that these are replacement filters for the *Mr Coffee* water filtration system, which is why I chose it. However, they are not an exact fit for the filter holder, maybe just 1/16 inch or so smaller than the brackets on the holder. But it's enough so that when the water starts hitting it, it pops out of the holder and ends up right on top of the coffee grounds. Also, my husband noticed that the plastic ring that holds the filter paper was actually a little bit warped after our last pot, so it could also be that the hot water warps it enough to let it pop out of the filter holder. Maybe that's also why the first filter actually separated from the ring.Manufacturers, take note: If you're going to make a product that supposedly can be used with another product, MAKE SURE IT MEETS THE SPECS OF THE PRODUCT IT'S TO BE USED WITH!
