Most of us destroy our immune system with the foods we eat, the medicines we rely on, and a lack of prebiotics in our food choices. My wife and I already take a probiotic supplement, and purchased this product to include in our daily routine. We add one-teaspoon of chicory granuals in our drip coffee maker, with the usual amount of coffee. We drink the mixture black and have grown accustomed to the "new" taste. If it's helping our immune system and leaky gut damage, it's invaluable during this pandemic and flu season. This product seems to be good quality, fresh and vacuum sealed in the package, and it is far less expensinve than taking another supplement capsule every day. We like that we have more control over the amount, and we can see what we're ingesting with this product. We will be buying more on a regular basis, I'm sure.

I should explain that I am not nor was I ever a coffee drinker but a coffee substitute drinker. The coffee industry, however, seems to have gobbled up coffee substitutes, nevertheless, I am so happy that I have discovered this product. It tastes great. I do have trouble keeping it warm enough but this may be my fault as I have never brewed coffee in my life but now brew this! The taste is strong and flavorful and I am happy to say that I feel fine drinking it without any sweetener or adjunct of any kind other than hot water! This too is a great brand of chicory with plenty of flavor if brewed with paper inserts!

I'm trying to cut down on caffeine. I use 2/3 chicory and 1/3 coffee in my afternoon cup of coffee. It has a bit of a darker, earthy flavor than my usual vanilla flavored coffee. Once I put my creamer in, I am just fine with that. I have even been using it in my morning cup, too. I know that chicory is healthier for you. The grind of the product is fairly coarse. I am very pleased overall and would buy it again.

After reading many reviews on chicory root coffee, not just this particular brand but others also, I heeded those that said not to expect it to be just like real coffee and had my expectations low. Maybe that worked, but to my surprise, it is very close to coffee, and it has good nutty aroma too. In my opinion, it tastes closer to coffee when I have it black than with cream and sugar/sweetener. Pretty amazing.

I originally bought this because I heard the word chicory coffee and became very interested ....I had thought originally that chicory was just a flavoring for coffee, but come to find out it's actually made I believe from dandelion somehow, anyhow I bought it and used it and I like it it's very different taste from regular coffee.... well not very different ...but different ...but I think it's enjoyable I use it with sugar and cream, I find that my best experience with this is when I actually mix it with regular coffee grounds one to one in my percolator ... It cuts down a little on my caffeine intake,,and it Imparts are very smooth taste to the coffee, and I have also found that there are many health benefits for using chicory ...one of which is digestive health! So all in all I can recommend it but it may take you a little while to get used to the flavor although it is good.

This tastes pretty good, but there is a slight "off" chemical sort of taste, and the product marketing is a bit decieving. Even though the company has "Organics" in it's name, this isn't certified organic... like their other chicory powder. That's where it gets confusing if you're in a rush... their other stuff IS organic. I only noticed after discovering the bag just states non GMO and vegan. The listing doesn't mention it being specifically organic either... so it was my fault for not researching further (they only list a ton of benefits and there is "organics" in the product name)... but just be careful if you're looking for organic. If that doesn't matter to you, it's a decent deal for the amount you get so I'll give it 4 stars.

Chicory brings out the flavor of the coffee. I add 1 teaspoon to the coffe filter basket before adding the coffee grounds press the brew button and there you have it a delicious cup of coffee 🙂.

First time trying Chicory, found it to be amazing with coffee mixed in equal parts.The chicory seems to mellow the coffee (Decaf) .Be mindful that the product by itself can be strong I advise mixing it with your choice of coffee or even hot chocolate.this product makes a delicious winter beverage.
