Pros: Works amazingly. Used to mount dashcam on dashboard. Has not come loose like every other 3m I've used. Cons: I found that once I placed it on the mount for my dashcam (without the dashcam mounted) and then stick to the dashboard it felt loose at first. Bbuuttttttt after 24 hours, slid solid as a rock. I'd attach it, place something heavy on it for a couple hours, and then attach whatever.

They have very good adhesive. I little hard to get off on one side. I have to use a knife to get it off. You can cut to the size you need.

I can't remember if this says it supports up to 20 lb if it does that's 100% false it does hold 10 lbs with no problem and as long as you take your time you can slowly take it off any surface again take your time if you want to take it off. I have a portable 8 lb wireless fan that could be nailed to the wall however I tried this Scotch extreme mounting strips thus far it's been two maybe three months and it's still holding strong

This tape did not perform as stated for my outside front door. It does not even hold the weather strip for my inside door. I will keep trying to find a use for it. Maybe something that does not require being moved around. It is sticky, but not for what I purchased it.

Scotch Mounting Tape didn’t hold up as expected. I used it for a simple power strip mounting job, and maybe a day after, it started losing adhesion. It might work for very light items, but anything with a bit of weight doesn’t stay secure for long. Surface prep was done properly, so it wasn’t an application issue. Overall, it just didn’t meet expectations in terms of adhesive strength.

Because the area we needed was too narrow to install the regular way I ordered, in August 2024, this tape for attaching a Ring Doorbell. I live in the northeast so we get from very cold snowy in winter to sunny and hot in summer and it is still attached to the house. It's worked amazingly for us.

Going to use this tape before this is the first time in this product is awesome

Works really well to hold up doorbell camera but will rip paint after being on the wall for so long!! I got fined by my landlord due to the paint coming off so be careful.

This is supposed to be able to hold 12lbs or something but it couldn’t keep my dashcam stuck to my wind shield. Total disaster
