Does this work on parchment and glassine papers?

Cannot guarantee the craft glue will work due to slick surface of papers ... but I believe it is worth a try ...

will it work on glass, and then applying glitter on top ?

Yes! It's amazing for glitter but for so much more! As a Professional Papercrafter it's my go-to adhesive. It doesn't warp the paper, dries quickly and a little goes a long way.
