KORE Men’s Full-Grain Leather Track Belt | “Epic” Alloy Buckle

I connected my buckle to the belt strap when I got it, checked for how long I needed it to be, and cut it so that when it was snug I had it tightened up to about half way down the notches. I figured that gave me room to shrink (hopefully) or to grow (unfortunately more likely) as needed. The belt buckle is really cool looking and I've already had one compliment on it. The belt feels strong and not likely to have problems. I found that when I need to use the bathroom in a sitting position (poopies for those of you who don't understand), it's easiest to just loosen the belt to one of the loosest notches without completely disengaging the buckle from the belt. That way, there's no fumbling around to reconnect it, no belt sliding out of the loops, etc. Just pull up your pants and click away to tighten. So much easier than looking for holes in my old belt. Plus, the clicks are fun to listen to! Great quality, and I agree with others who have said they will never go back to a belt with holes in it. The ratcheting belt is just too darn cool!

Buckle has a few small imperfections, but other than that this is a great belt. It fits great, and I like the lack of traditional buckle holes.

This belt is absolutely fantastic. I agree with other reviewers that the unlatching takes a minute to get used to, so make sure you try it out before you have to head to the restroom. Other than that, I can dial this thing in to the 1/4" and tighten it up on the fly, which is really great if you're like me and have a "resting" position on your belt that might be a little loose when you're up and walking around. Being able to adjust it on the fly like that and not look like I'm stepping up to a urinal in order to tighten my belt is a heck of a nice feature. You can also cut it down to a smaller size if you lose weight, which for someone of my size (50" waist/300lbs and working on it), means I'll be able to use this for years to come.

When I got this belt, I was skeptical. But it's been nineteen months, and the belt is still functional. The ratcheting system, which I thought would be the weak point, is still operating perfectly. There is a bit of curvature of the belt, but not as much as I would expect to see on a plain leather belt. The inside of the belt has some small cracks that don't affect functionality. The only reason I'm replacing the belt is because the outside no longer looks good enough. I'll relegate the belt to working in the yard, and wear the new one when I need to look good. A few months ago I bought a wider Kore Essentials belt which I like better for "carrying."

I'm assuming that the buckle on this one was defective. The belt would come off of it occasionally, right after I bought it, but it wasn't frequent enough for me to take the time to send it back, until yesterday. I was playing around of golf, and the buckle was coming off at least one or two times per hole, sometimes more. I figure it came off at least 40 times. Really made the round very un-enjoyable. The buckle would come off when I would swing the club, so it made it hard to concentrate on the shot, not knowing if it would pop off again. My pants were fairly loose, so there was the very real danger of my pants falling down in mid swing. Good for laughs, for my golfing buddies, not much fun for me. I also have the TAKLINE SLIM Ratchet Belt, which I've had longer, and I've had no issues. Better quality control is in order. 5/12/16 Update Changed to 4 stars, for now. KORE Essestials/TRAKLINE shipped out a replacement belt and buckle right away. Excellent customer service, I'll have to see how this one holds up though. 7/17 Update The replacement belt split again. Customer service sent another one, which is supposed to be stronger 6/18 Update It looks like the new belt they sent me is stronger. The previous two belts lasted about 6 months each, and this one is going on a year without any splits, however, the leather did tear out where the teeth of the buckle clamp down, but I just trimmed the torn piece off and put the buckle back on.

The belt is designed very nice was a little bit expensive, but the trick is the buckle is smaller so I have a little bit of a belly or a lot of belly, and it doesn't cause me any discomfort like some of the other ones I would say it's worth every penny. If you can get it on sale, shouldn't be more than 40 bucks.

A very good belt! For the price it is a very well put together belt, I love how it’s multi adjustable and the buckle is well manufactured
