"J" hooks are great in 3"16 pegboard, lock strips are not so good
I have 3/16 and 1/4" pegboard. The "J" hooks work very well in the 3/16" holes. In the 1/4" holes they are very loose fitting.The lock straps do not work on "J" hooks because my pegboard holes are drilled in such a way that they do not line up with the hook.
