Casio Standard Digital F-84W-1 [Japan Imports]

I came upon this little gem of a watch while looking for a classic Casio f-91w, and decided to grab it. With its low price, sleek retro design and light build, this is a perfect everyday watch to wear and forget. I have worn it a few times and always forget that it is on my wrist. I love the sleek retro design and of course the classic green led light that is more nostalgic than helpful. Easy to set up and with the Casio durability and quality, what more can you want from an inexpensive watch. Get one!

Cool JDM piece to own!

Amazing watch, the watch has a retro feel that I have never experienced in any Casio before. Simplistic and light design makes it even more appealing. And for a watch that was first released in 1986, it is very futuristic.Overall worth the money if you are a Casio enthusiast.

I prefer this over the F91w

I discovered this watch buried deep in Casio Japan's product offerings page, and I was intrigued. It looks like an even more retro F91W, which is essentially what it is. From what I've gathered, this watch was introduced somewhere in the mid 80s and has exactly the same functions as the F91W, but with a less proto-G Shock look than the F91W has. It wears on the wrist very similarly to an F91W in terms of weight and overall dimensions, it keeps great time like every other Casio, and the one I received had no noticeable finish flaws or other damage - I recommend picking one of these up if you like the really retro Casio look. Great watch!

Thee best Casio watch I have ever purchased.

I really like the way the watch looks. When compared to the F-91W it seems to be slightly smaller, however it is in fact still 33mm just like the F-91W as well (perfect size IMO).The difference is that the F-84W's case is curved and not as boxy looking in appearance (which I really like). The resin wrist strap is also thinner (not in terms of thickness, but in terms of width*) when compared to the F-91W and appears to be 1mm or so thinner.The strap has a more intricate looking aesthetic and is very comfortable, and the wrist size holes are smaller too. Overall I am very pleased! However, the only complaint that I have is that the watch is missing a little detail... It does NOT have the little 'Japan' marking at the bottom of the watch face as shown in the product picture, so I am questioning its authenticity.Overall if you don't care about that marking definitely look into this watch as the next timepiece to add to your collection, I can't recommend this enough! :)

not my every day watch. not even my every other day watch. its so tiny. and old school. but as a child of the 80s i had to have one in my retro casio collection. a japanese import and well crafted. no major bells or whistles and it does not look good on me unless i accompany it with a bracelet for balance. tried to get my kids or spouse to use it, hate a sad lonely time piece. anyways if youre buying this you probably grew up seeing them everywhere. such a low price point grab one as a gift for an up and coming watch lover. maybe prepare for holiday stocking stuffers early.

quien lo adquiere, que quien lo usa, sabe muy bien lo que lleva puesto, porque, a diferencia de los F-91 que pululan por doquier, el F-84 no es un reloj que puedas adquirir en cualquier mercadillo. No es un reloj que se elija "por azar" o "para salir del paso", quien elije un F-84 sabe bien lo que tiene. Sabe de relojes. O, al menos, sabe de Casio.

really pleasantly surprised by shipping.. item arrived about a month earlier then expected! nice watch somehow cleaner looking then the f91w version. looks like a real classic casio!
