100-300cc Oxygen Absorbers (5 Packs of 20ea.) for Vacuum Seal or Mylar Bag Food Storage

This was a good deal, they are essential for storing dried foods long term.

Sealed and functional. worked perfectly for long term storage in poly sealed bags.

I like that they are bagged in a 10 count. I have had a few that don't absorb. The picture is not accurate to what was shipped. The packets I received were white with blue and red writing. Nevertheless, most of the packets worked great.

I dehydrate a lot of our garden produce and store in half gallon mason jars. Since the garden provides us with most of our vegetable needs during the winter, making sure the containers are airtight is a must. After using these for 3 years, I can attest we've never had a problem with spoilage. I've also used these in airtight containers of pasta. We tend to stock up for the winter, like the 10 pounds of macaroni for $5 we found over the weekend. Freeze pasta for 72 hours, then let it return to room temperature. Store pasta in airtight containers with one of the oxygen absorbers. You won't have critters floating in your pasta water this way.

The absorbers did not work properly. This is not my first time using absorbers, this is however my first time using oxyfree ones. I am extremely disappointed. They were softball bendable as they are supposed to be so I thought they were good, packed usedan in mylar (quickly divided them into smaller packs and sealed initially as I do with my regular vendors also). Checked on stuff to see how it was doing yesterday and became curious as to why they still looked like they had a fair amount of air in them, my regular brand visibly reduces air in the bags. So I opened one, pack was still soft and pliable - let it sit out for several hours and same thing, still soft. A company tells you when you open the bag to feel them and make sure they are soft. If they are not they are no good. So not sure if I just got a bad batch, but aggravated because of all the freeze dried food I lost when these failed..... an expense that can't be refunded..... will go back to my regular vendor as I have never had an issue with any received from them.

Cheap and good quantity

Hace meses compré este paquete de absorbedores de oxígeno, use los 20 que vienen en una bolsa y ni siquiera se calentaron ni se contrajeron las bolsas, ya han pasado 30 hrs. Y no ha hecho ningún efecto, lastima de mi dinero, tirado a la basura.
