Sturdy once put together, and easy to assemble - it took 5 minutes, if that. After reading the reviews and looking at the the shelves, I assembled the shelves in place, since it seemed likely they cannot be picked up and moved. The assembly instructions are diagram only but were easy to make sense of. I bought this item because it was the right size for my needs, and had 40cm deep shelves - the standard 30cm shelf was too shallow for me.The ventilation is good so that air can circulate through the items on the shelves.
