Works well . The app is not up To expectation

I bought this model (NEMA 14-50 32A model) specifically because it showed the voltage range being 100-240v in the smaller print in the description and being able to change the amperage between 10, 12, 16, 24, or 32a. I wasn't sure if this would be the case because the title of the item only showed 200-240v. It does indeed take 120. I had to make an adapter to let me plug it into my household 110v (NEMA 5-15). This is great since it allows me to choose 10 or 12a when visiting friends who have a convenient plug outside of their garage or when I'm at work and have access to a 20a plug (NEMA 5-20) and can choose 16a. In my garage, I have a 220v 20a outlet (also had to make an adapter for the NEMA 6-20 receptacle), but it will only let me choose 12, 16, 24, or 32a. 10A does not seem to be an option when on 220v unlike when I plug into 110v outlet.To change amperage you need to plug it into the wall first then use the included card or touch the area indicated on the top of the box. On 110v I can choose 10, 12, 16, 24, or 32A when I plug it into my 220v outlet I can only choose 12, 16, 24, or 32a. Then you plug it into the car and the car will only see the amperage the EVSE/Charger is putting out. My car is only a PHEV and not full electric and so can only pull up to 14.4a as shown on the screen when on the 16a setting. If I choose a lower amperage on either 110 or 220 the car charge time changes accordingly.I overbought in charging ability figuring I'll be buying a full electric car in the immediate future and I like going camping and on road trips and this will allow me to almost plug into any outlet I meet and adjust the amperage accordingly so I don't need to tell the car what each outlet is capable of.

At first, I thought this charger was a little pricey, but after using it, i see that it is definitely worth the price. You can schedule your charger to start and stop at specified times for each day and t you control the amps, which range from 8 to 40 for the 240 plug. Color me as a satisfied purchaser.

I read some negative reviews about the plug fitting into the car. For me its works flawlessly. It is so much better than the stock charger. I can charge at 24 amps instead of 16. I like the the fact that it gives me so much information on the screen. I cant think of anything negative about it so far.

The best feature was and multi-current so that as long as you can get an adapter for different plugs you can charge anywhere. The LCD display is a plus and show all the information as to power charge rate and total power. Price was much better than chargers with the multi-current settings.

Works great ! Amp selection is the best feature.I didn't try any other ones so ,I can honestly say the best charger I've ever owned! ;-)

Purchased in February 2022. Works just as described and works very well. No issues after about a month of use and around 15 charge ups for a Chevy Bolt EV. Just plug everything in, car is charging within seconds. So I'm very happy so far. Some criticisms: 1. There is no way the cable length is 25 feet long. From one end to the other of the entire unit is maybe 20-21 feet long at the most, definitely not 25 feet. But it does reach by charge port on my small car with a few feet to spare, so I won't complain. 2. The sheetrock anchors and screws the mounting kit came with are cheap and crappy. No way they will hold the cable hook up long term. So I had the electrician who installed it use better anchors and screws.Overall this EV charger was an excellent buy, and I'm glad I got it. I hope it lasts a long while. Thank you MEGEAR.

This is my first EV charger and was debating about purchasing a Juicebox due to the reviews and functions available via the phone app but could not justify the almost $300 price differential between this unit and the Juicebox. I didn't need to phone app as much as the capability to see details re: each charging session and to schedule when charging should start (have a BMW I3 and onboard "charging scheduling" function frankly doesn't work well). The display (even though small) conveys everything I wanted to know and ability to delay start of charging (2, 4, 6, 8 hours) for better time of use rates works great.Ability to simply plug/unplug this unit is definitely a plus. If for some reason I wanted to change it out, it would be tons easier than calling an electrician to unhook a hardwired unit.Been using this for about 3 weeks without any problems. The strobe lights when charging is in progress is a little cheesy but looks pretty cool.The only thing this unit has got me thinking about is maybe upgrading to the 40A version which could get the charging done faster but since all of my charging is done at night that isn't as big a deal if it took 4 hours instead of 3 to complete.Would definitely recommend this unit if you didn't need all the bells and whistles of a phone app.

El cargador muestra en su display el amperaje al cual se carga el auto y a cuanto lo programas si es que tú deseas menor carga. El cable tiene la longitud necesaria. Te indica cuando ya termino de cargar. Estoy muy contento, buena compra.
