Yes, it's expensive, but yes, if you drink tea several times a day, it is worth it to be a "good tea". The packaging is o.k. I don't find their self closing to be all that great. We transfer the tea over to a mason style wide mouth jar and keep a tbl scoop in it. The water should be HOT not boiling, and we found for a standard french press it takes two full scoops.
