Love the taste!
I've been using this product since it was originally called Kiss Your Blues Away - I absolutely love the flavor of blackberry and of coconut, so I specifically love this flavor. It's not vitamin or minerally tasting to me at all. It does cause raging intestinal gas the next day though, unfortunately, as the "fiber" in it isn't actually fiber - it's just a slow moving carb that gives you stinky farts. It's the sweetener that's all the rage, but I've gotten used to that aspect. Admittedly, my dog hates it. Too bad for him!

Great
This is my favorite spirulina. I’ve been using it regularly for several years. No clumping. No odor.

I trust this brand.. good value!
Like this product! It is a little smaller than I thought… but good value for the money! I like that the product is packaged in a container rather than an envelope! Texture and taste is not bad.. for seaweed and algae… I mix in smoothies and water! The nature of the product is a fine powder so be aware and mix slowly as to not send powder everywhere! It is a bright blue-green powder and can stain hands and counters.. wash right away and is not an issue! Bought for health benefits and so far my energy has increased and my sleep is better!

Just ok
It’s just ok. Nothing special to report. Im not a big fan of this flavor. The sweetener used gives it a weird taste.

Everything i've been looking for and more
Admittedly, I'm a sucker for anything blue; it's my favorite color afterall. And anything blue in the edible world tends to be pretty healthy for us. So soon as I laid eyes on this product, I knew I had to try it.The taste is satisfactory. Blue raspberry happens to be my favorite flavor of anything, but usually onky found in artificial flavoring and you'll rarely find it in a natural product. That being said, don't expect this to taste like a blue Jolly Rancher or one of those blue popsicles we used to suck on as kids. What the flavor does is mask the taste of the not-so-tasty healthy ingredients hidden in this product and it does that more than well enough in my opinion. For A health product this tastes just fine (I mean, I'm used to drinking unflavored concotions that would send even the most seasoned healthnut running for the hills). With low sugar you won't feel guilty after taking this product and you can fit it into a low carb lifestyle. The marketing is genius. I'm not usually one to be sucked into marketing...I'm a back label reader. But something about this marketing just lulls you in. The label is gorgeous: clever names for products, vibrant colors, cool little art littering the product relevant to what's inside.Price wise I would say it's reasonable for what you're getting, there's quality ingredients here, albeit a little on the high side. Probably around what you'd pay for other high-end preworkout or energy mixes. Kos products are interesting and usually have a fair price point vs what you will find with similar products and that's what drove me to want to explore their options. With 28 servings, this will last you roughly a month.Energy/effects: my only gripe is I'd like a bit more caffeine, a bit more of a kick. Coming from a recovering energy drink addict, I'm used to the 150-160mg range. However, I do think the adaptogens and other goodies in this product will prove to make up for the deficit in caffeine. And maybe I'll get used to this amount over time.Overall I think this is an amazing product and, unless I come across somwthing even cooler, I'm likely to be a repeat customer. If you're like me and looking to replace that bland, acidic daily coffee (blegh), or kick that not-so-healthy energy drink habit, I would say this is worth trying. The exotic, natural blue hue of the product will have anyone seeing it thinking you're drinking Blue koolaid, and the exotic ingredients will have you feelin good.

Benefits may vary
From what I was reading about spirulina in regards to fitness, it seems that the benefits vary person-to-person. It reminds me of creatine and how some people swear by it and others don’t notice a difference if they take it or not. More research needs to be done, but it may be that people who have a higher amount of oxidative stress may be more likely to see a benefit from supplementing with spirulina. But I’ve also read that because it boosts the immune system, it could worsen autoimmune diseases like lupus, so use with caution. Some resources say to take spirulina before workouts, some say immediate after, so that would be worth experimenting with to see what works best for you.I’m a celiac (my condition is mild) and I’ve been taking one scoop after workouts, within 30 minutes of finishing. I noticed a significant improvement in DOMS post-workout. This includes after introducing a new exercise with a controlled eccentric component and pushing myself on that exercise.I have a tendency to be excessively fatigued, especially after physical activity, and this may alleviate a small portion of that. Not enough for me to definitively say it’s the spirulina vs. placebo.I will say, spirulina doesn’t taste great. It’s like chicken water. I would recommend mixing it with a drink flavoring packet (berry flavor works great), adding just enough water to give it a normal drink viscosity, stirring vigorously, then and chugging. I usually have to add a little more water and do another couple small chugs to get all of it. If you add it to bigger drink like a smoothie, you’ll just prolong how long you have to taste it.
