Komelon12' Self Lock Hi-Vis Speedmark Tape Measure

These are the best tape measures. Lightweight, slim, great in my hand, the auto lock holds FIRM and the tape retracts STRONG & FAST! Each length has a different underside. The 25’ has a really convenient conversion table set. The rest each have a different use, the 12’ has nothing, 16’ and 30’ have white with identical markings, but the 25 is my favorite. (See photos)I have never had one of these break. I have had 3 other makes of different sizes become useless if over extended. These komelons just don’t die even when over extended. Love them!

Honestly I love this tape measurement. Great price for a Greta item! High vis color makes it easy to find in the tool bag. I like that the overall body is just less bulky and slimmer then others (female user with small hands). Locks right into place and size slide around like other auto-locking brands. I have multiple sizes cause I love it so much. Highly recommend!

It's a great value, and the self-locking tape is key to one-handed usage. I frequently need to measure the height of a door or wall, and one hand keeps the end of the tape in place while my other hand pulls out more tape. If the tape measure is not self-locking, I try to use the thumb lock or my knee to keep the tape from retracting. Self-locking solves the problem and then a push of the button retracts the tape at a moderate speed, not lightning fast, whipping the tape all around. Plus a nice bonus feature. The tape is marked on both sides. This makes measuring inside measurements where you have to hook the end of the tape on an inside edge and can only see the backside of the tape much easier to read.

Better than Milwaukee or dewalt . This is my favorite tape measure . Now i have 2 . A 12ft , 16ft, next a 25ft. The self locking mechanism is awesome and holds strong . I work in irrigation where a tape measure is always needed

the self lock system does not work consistently....very weak after a few uses...the biggest issue I had was trying to get the tape measure out of the packaging...the "anti theft plastic wrap" is very difficult to defeat without a razor knife, cutting pliers and a sharp screwdriver...I found the little plastic knob over the screw on the back of the package had to be cut off first...I tried many attempts by cutting the plastic from the front but that ended in frustration ...I do not recommend the Komelon brand for lack of quality and extreme difficulty in removal from packaging
